Big History


Researchers at the PEAR Lab believe that the stories humanity tells about our own origins serve numerous mythic functions - and therefore are likely to be a critical component of any scientifically rigorous Positive Education approach. 

In this regard, the emerging evolutionary synthesis for understanding the Human Brain - based largely on our Unified Human Sciences framework - suggests that understanding a "Big History of the Brain" is an appropriate foundation for cultivating Positive Education.
