Annual Fund
The Peabody Annual Fund is a giving fund set up by the Peabody Parent Teacher Organization with the purpose of raising funds for our school.
We are requesting a total of $180 per student over the course of the year.
Option 1: Recurring monthly payments. Sign up now & schedule payment amounts and start dates that works best for your family.
Option 2: Lump sum payment. You can pay by credit/debit, cash or check. Make checks payable to Peabody PTO with a memo listing your student name(s).
Why $180 per student?
Our school wide goal (lower than normal due to COVID) is $60,000 for the year. If every family contributed $180 for each student, we would reach our goal with no other fundraisers for the year! This year is especially important as we are not able to run other fundraisers due to COVID.

What is the Peabody Annual Fund?
The Peabody Annual Fund is a giving fund set up by the Peabody Parent Teacher Organization with the purpose of raising funds for our school. Peabody’s PTO is responsible for raising money through the fund AND has the responsibility of representing our entire school community in determining how the fund is used. Peabody is in the process of identifying what additional needs they will have for this unusual and challenging situation we are in, so we do not have a list of priorities for this school year yet. We will be sure to communicate how PTO funds will be used once we have more information from the school, but we expect the needs to be even greater (and even more important) this year than in years past.
Why do we fundraise for Peabody?
As a Parent Teacher Organization, we believe our students deserve a rich education experience that goes beyond what public schools can offer due to limited funding. We fundraise because we care. In the past PTO funds have paid for classroom and COG materials, curriculum items, additional technology items, and additional staffing.
How do we fund-raise at Peabody?
At Peabody we have traditionally used a variety of fundraisers, including a Run4Funds, a book fair, an annual auction, and other activities. This year our fundraising will need to be different due to Covid. We plan to adapt the Run4Funds into a Read4Funds, and the book fair will be virtual. Our annual auction, which has always been our largest fundraiser, will not happen this year. Due to the challenges we are all facing, our primary method of fundraising this year will be through the Peabody Annual Fund.
