Getting into Property Derivatives

Benchmark Publication

PDIG is pleased to announce the publication of an update of the highly regarded report; ‘Getting into Property Derivatives’.  This document has been written by market practitioners to support further development in the understanding of property derivatives, with a particular focus on potential end-users of the product.

First launched in November 2008, the document provides a toolkit setting out the various stages of a property derivative deal and what needs to be in place for parties to trade. How property derivatives can be used to hedge risk or gain market exposure is discussed and the practical application of trading derivatives is brought to life through a series of case studies.
