This application is available on the App StoreSM.

With this app you can be an artist on your iPhone® and iPad®!
There are over 100 preset brush colors, and you can create your own color.
There are preset background colors to paint on, and you can create your own.
There are a variety of brush designs.
You can also add a tone overlay to your drawing or photos!
There are preset tones, or you can create your own.
There are preset background images for you to draw on.
You can also paint on your photos saved in your photo library.
There are also triangles, squares, and circles in a variety of colors and sizes to add to your drawings.

What will you create with this app?


Instructions
Press the "Start Drawing" button to begin.

To draw:
Move your finger on the screen to draw.
Note - If paint is turned off, you cannot draw.  To paint, turn paint on by either pressing the "Draw" button or by selecting a brush.

To select a brush:
Press the "Brush" button.  Then press the button for the brush you want.

To change the brush size:
Press the "Brush" button.  Then press the "Size" button.  Then press the button for the size you want.

To change the brush color:
Press the "Color" button.  Then select the color you want.
Only the brushes on the first page of brush selections can have their color changed.  Pages 2, 3, and 4 paint with the color shown on the brush button.  The "Color" button is removed when you are painting with brushes from those pages and is returned when a brush from page 1 is selected.
To create your own color, press the "Custom" button, then move the color sliders until you have created the color you want.  Then press the "Use this color" button.
Note - If you press the "Cancel" button, you will be returned to your drawing and the paint color is not changed.

To erase paint from the screen:
Press the "Erase" button.  Move your finger where you want to erase.  Press the "Erase Done" button to paint again.
Notes - The eraser does not erase shapes from the screen.
If paint was turned off when you started erasing, paint will be turned on when you are finished erasing.  To turn paint back off, either press the "Off" button or select a shape.

To change the size of the eraser:
Press the "Size" button.  Then press the button for the size you want.

To select shapes:
Press the "Shapes" button.  Then select the size you want your shape to be.  Then select the shape type you want to add to your drawing.  Then select the shape you want.
Note - When you select a shape, paint is turned off.  To paint again, either press the "Draw" button or select a brush.

To move shapes:
Move the shapes around the screen with your finger.
Note - If paint is on, you cannot move shapes.  To move shapes, either turn paint off by pressing the "Off" button, or by selecting a shape.

To turn paint off:
Press the "Off" button.

To turn paint on:
Press the "Draw" button.

To hide the buttons on the screen:
Press the "Hide" button.
To show the buttons again, press the "Show" button.

To change the background color:
Press the "Options" button.  Then select the color you want.
To create your own color, press the "Custom" button, then move the color sliders until you have created the color you want.  Then press the "Use this color" button.
Note - If you press the "Cancel" button, you will be returned to your drawing and the background color is not changed.

To use a photo as your background image:

Press the "Photo" button, then select the photo you want.

To use a preset background image:
Press the "Options" button.  Then press the "Background Images" button.  Then select the image you want.

To clear the background image:
Press the "Options" button.  Then press the "Background Images" button.  Then press the "No Image or Photo" button.

To change the photo display properties:
Press the "Options" button.  Then press the "Background Images" button.  Then press the "Aspect Fit" or the "Aspect Fill" button.

To use note paper as your background image:
Press the "Options" button.  Then press the "Note Paper" button.  Then select the paper you want.  If you want to just add the note paper lines to your drawing (this way you can use a photo or preset image as your note paper).  Press the "Options" button.  Then press the "Note Paper" button.  Then press the "Next" button.  Then select the line color you want.  To remove the lines, press the "Clear lines" button.

To add a tone overlay:
Press the "Options" button.  Then press the "Tones" button.  Then select the color tone you want to add.
To create your own tone, press the "Custom" button, then move the color sliders until you have created the color you want.  Then press the "Use this color" button.
Note - If you press the "Cancel" button, you will be returned to your drawing and the tone color is not changed.
To use a tone image, press the "Tone Images" button.  Then select the image you want.
Note - After you select a tone image, if you select a preset tone color or create your own color, the tone image is not cleared.  The color will be applied to the current tone image.

To clear the tone or tone image:
Press the "Options" button.  Then press the "Tones" button.  Then press the "No Tone" button.

To save your drawing to your photo library:
Press the "Save" button.  Then press the "Save to Photo Library" button.
Note - Drawings are not saved until this is pressed.

To e-mail your drawing:
Press the "Save" button.  Then press the "E-mail PNG File" or the "E-mail JPEG File" button, depending on the file type you want your picture to be.  Then compose your e-mail and send.
Note - If you want to save your drawing to your photo library also when it is e-mailed, on the bottom of the save options screen, turn the slider to "ON".
If you do not want to save to the photo library when a drawing is e-mailed, then turn the slider to "OFF".
Drawings are saved as JPEG files to the photo library.

To clear the screen:
Press the "Clear" button.  Then select the option you want.
To just clear the paint, press the "Paint" button.
To just clear the shapes, press the "Shapes" button.
To clear everything, press the "All" button.
To return to the drawing without clearing, press the "Cancel" button.

To exit:
Press the "Options" button.  Then press the "Clear and Exit to Main Menu" button.
Note - Your drawing is cleared when you exit to the main menu.
