Windows 10 Hands-on Classes 

 Windows 10 Hands-On Classes will begin October 1, 2018

Mondays: Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22    10:30 t0 12:30pm  Rm.B

For General Information:

WINDOWS 10 is a 4-week course of 2-hour sessions, on Mondays in room B.  This course assumes that the participant has some experience with a PC Computer but MINIMAL knowledge of the basic features of the Windows 10 operating system. 

Course Outline: There will be lecture and demonstration by the instructor followed by hands-on computer practice under the supervision of the instructor and assistants. Topics that will be taught include:

  • Getting Around on the Start Screen and Desktop view
  • Using This PC, Snipping tool, Virtual desktops, 
  • Using new File Explorer Options. Printing Photos 
  • Exploring Edge, Bing, Cortana, and some new Updates
Course Signup:  Envelopes for Registration will be in the office after September 5th

You must have your Computers West membership up to date and have signed up to monitor one time. (See the on-line Monitor Training information on the main CW website.) Then fill out the envelope for Win 10 in the registration book across from the Monitor's desk, insert your check for $10.00 made out to Computers West and give it to the monitor. Please mark your calendar - You will not be called to remind you to attend.  (If two members of the same family are registering, please fill out TWO envelopes ($10 each) so we will have an accurate count for the number of computers being used.)
