CEO and Marketing Guru

Teri Bayus has experience as an entrepreneur, supervisor, and corporate officer. She is currently a  Senior Business Analyst, CEO and a Notary Public. The last 10 years have been devoted to setting up  business brokerage firms. She created the entire business portal including; website, contact software, all procedures, and forms. She created and implemented all marketing, public relations, set up the employee manual and procedures, and trained the staff and wrote all business summaries and CBRs.

Her passion has always been non-profit fundraising and special events. Which she does on a freelance bases for Non-Profits. As a Public Relations expert with extensive Grant writing experience, she knows how to raise funds, doing everything from securing sponsors, publishing collateral, organizing volunteers, setting up silent and charitable auctions. 

Teri has also been art director on many television programs from 30-seconds to 60-minutes for non-profit and for profit organizations. She is proficient at editing, shooting, writing and getting finished products into circulation.

Teri is also an award-winning author who has been published in over 20 regional magazines, local papers, a two book compilations (Cup of Comfort). Having been a local columnist for a weekly publication (Food and Movie Critic) for over 5 years, she has extensive vocabulary and knowledge of the business world. She has never missed a deadline.


DJ Purser

Performing and perfecting the art of on-line advertising is no small feat and DJ has mastered this obscure and daunting task. With over 12 years of experience in assisting business brokers and business sellers to maximize their on-line marketing presence and still keeping confidentiality.

DJ is a consumate perfectionist and that skill shines thru as she provides brokers with stellar service. Her business background includes 20 years mortgage industry Cal Poly mathematics degree.

Cheré Winkelpleck

Client Representative


As an administrative assistant to Business Brokers for over 7 years, Cheré has tackled all aspects of Business Brokerage. From screening new buyers to typing complicated contracts, notes, and business summaries to keeping the business brokerage running with Excel, QuickBooks, Word, CRM Software, and valuation software, she has handled all secretarial and personal assistant duties.

Gary S. Bayus, CBI, CMAP, ABI, CBB


As an advisor to owners of privately held companies, institutional and private investors, his business dealings primarily focus on business sales, acquisitions and mergers. He targets closely held companies in which annual sales are usually less than $10 million. His advisory engagements have entailed a wide array of clients in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries.


Gary is a seasoned and accomplished dealmaker who understands the process, the market place, the needs of sellers, and the goals of buyers. He is highly experienced in negotiating complex business transactions and analyzing and determining business valuations of companies. His business credentials also include a comprehensive background in sourcing and negotiating debt and equity financing.

Mr. Bayus is a popular speaker to professional groups on subjects dealing with business sales, growth thru acquisitions, and valuing business entities. He is a member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), the largest association of business brokers and intermediaries in the world, the Middle Market Investment Banking Association (MMIBA), and the American Business Brokers Association (ABBA). In addition, he has met the qualifications and been accepted for membership in the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA), the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), and serves as an officer and sits on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB). He holds the honor of being named “Top Ten Business Broker in California”.

Gary has been awarded the prestigious designations of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) by the IBBA, Chartered Merger and Acquisition Professional (CMAP) by the MMIBA, Accredited Business Intermediary (ABI) by the ABBA, as well as Certified Business Broker (CBB) by CABB. These designations are the highest recognized symbols of professionalism in the industry. To achieve this, stringent documentation of completed transactions, upholding ethical standards, and extensive advanced educational, testing, peer review and professional requirements have to be met. He is also a State of California licensed Business and Real Estate Broker. 

Always one to challenge himself in personal and professional development, Mr. Bayus is Past President of Board of Directors of CABB and is the Past President Pismo Beach Rotary Club.
