Why haven’t heard of you?


Many of our members consider us their secret weapon and do not share with other brokers why their practice is so successful. One broker started with us with just 3 listings; he now has over 15. He will tell you the new SELLERS came from our SEO effort and repositioning of his listings, which brought his name much higher up in Google searches. When a business owner is looking for help selling their company, they usually start with Google.


Are you “going around” the Business-For-Sale websites?

We are not “going around” or operating our program without the Business-For-Sale websites’ knowledge. We have negotiated special deals with these websites and have been doing this for many broker members over the last 5 years. The Business-For-Sale websites endorse, encourage and welcome us because we take a marketing approach to the business listings which keeps them high in search engine rankings. This reflects well on their websites and to their customers- the buyers and sellers.


I just use The Big One and call it good. Why do I need all those other websites?

One reason we post on ALL the business for sale websites is for the purpose of getting the brokers name and credentials out into the world.  It has worked wonders for our broker members, namely one in Texas who went from 3 listings to 15 in 6 months based on his Google rankings. Sellers told him he was "all over the place" on the Internet, which the business owners found very attractive. Another reason is so you can honestly tell a seller you are “reaching out to the universe of potential buyers” by advertising and marketing their business on over 40 websites. Which broker do you think will get the listing- the one who says they use one or two websites, or the broker who can say over 40 and give the seller a list of the 40? Also, think global; International buyers don’t find businesses on BizBuySell and they  push all buyers towards Franchises, not to Business Broker Listings.


I think this is a fantastic idea but I only spend $50 a month on The Big One.

Keep in mind that the fees paid to the websites are only a small part of the equation. How much time do you (or someone else in your office) spend putting listings on the websites, correcting mistakes, and then making changes to those postings every few weeks? What is your time worth, and isn’t your expertise better utilized doing other activities? Plus, I can guarantee that because we spend so much time focusing on this, that we know all the tricks to use on the websites to get the most response from potential buyers.

Our program focuses on the Marketing element of your listings using keywords, effective title enhancement, stock photography and Social Media cross channel marketing for maximum SEO. Continuing to write the same titles and identical descriptions that are not marketing based keeps a broker’s listing invisible, lost in the ever-growing sea of business opportunities. What if I want Feature/Spotlight ads?

Our program includes spotlight ads that get more qualified buyers. It is rotated using SEO so the Broker is noticed, not just that one listing. This is at NO additional cost to you.


My listings are my inventory, my inventory is my business. I’m reluctant to give up my control of this critical part of my practice. Why should I?

You are not giving up any control. You own and have full access and complete control of your listings at all times. Buyer inquiries go to YOUR email and phone number. YOUR name is attached to each of your listings.

Look at your time as your inventory. Our Business Broker Marketing Co-op will give you more time to do what makes you the most money- getting in front of sellers and buyers!


What about other fees? Any “hidden” charges?

The cost is $250 per month which includes up to 10 listings. 11-20 listings add $50 more, 21-30 listings add $50 more, etc. There is no charge for adding, deleting or updating listings. Your brokerage name is still searchable on ALL the websites. We do offer other “virtual assistant” services, priced separately. Just let us know how we can help!

Some of our broker members have easily eliminated the above monthly cost completely, while retaining all the benefits. Ask me how.


This sounds to good to be true. What’s the catch?

No catch. Month to month, cancel at any time. This is not a new program. We can put you in touch with some of our business broker co-op members. They can tell you how great the program works. Or we can schedule a time to discuss details on the phone. No pressure, we just want to make sure you have all the facts.



I’m afraid to admit this, but what is SEO and why do I need it?

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a webpage in a search engine’s (Google) “natural” or un-paid (“organic”) search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users. As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms or keywords typed into search engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience.

With most listings advertised in one or more national or regional Internet business-for-sale portals, selling today relies on your offering getting noticed with a persuasive business summary.
