Bio & Statement

Industrial Evolution Promo

Paul Jach has been a working artist since receiving his BFA majoring in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA in 1998.

He has exhibited nationally in several solo and group shows. Paul has created event posters for Carnegie Hall's Weill Auditorium, The Fillmore West and Warfield Auditorium for such artists as Fiona Apple, Blur and the John Spencer Blues Explosion.

In 2001, Paul formed the art collective, Speak-Easy Art. The name references the alternate venues where the collective got it's start and the independent feel of the work. In January of 2009, Paul opened Speakeasy Art Gallery located in Boonton, NJ. The gallery sets a new standard in showcasing established and emerging artists. The space is both interesting and accessible to all art enthusiasts.

As owner of the gallery, Paul serves as curator and education director. He teaches classes in drawing, painting, printmaking and computer arts to children and adults. In 2010 Paul received his masters in studio art education with distinction from Kean University in Union, NJ.
