Welcome

I am an economist and research fellow at the Institute for Social Economic Research, University of Essex. I am an Associate Director of the Understanding Society household panel survey, also based at Essex. 

My research focuses on living standards, public economics and labour markets. I study data quality and the design, collection and analysis of survey data, with particular attention to household living standards. My current work combines applied analysis with methodological research on income measurement and linked survey-administrative data.
