Welcome

I am an economist and research fellow at the Institute for Social Economic Research, University of Essex. I am an Associate Director of the Understanding Society household panel survey, also based at Essex. 

My research interests cover a range of topics in applied economics. My primary work focuses on issues around data quality and the design, collection and analysis of survey data, with particular regard to the measurement of household living standards.  I am also engaged in research within the fields of labor economics, the economic impacts of COVID-19, and health economics.
