Patrizio Morganti is a research fellow at the Department of Economics, Engineering, Society, and Business at Tuscia University (Viterbo, Italy). He joined the Department in 2016 after receiving his PhD from Sapienza University in Rome. He has been a visiting graduate student at the Department of Economics at Johns Hopkins University under the supervision of Prof. Anton Korinek, and a visiting scholar at Université Côte d'Azur of Nice and NRU High School of Economics of Nizhny Novgorod (Russia).

His current research focuses on macroeconomics and finance, ecological and energy transition, and the role of inter-firm network agreements in local sustainable development.

He is currently teaching Financial Economics (MSc level) at Tuscia University, and Macro and Microeconomics (bachelor level) at Sapienza University (Rieti Campus). He is also member of SUERF (The European Money and Finance Forum), Società Italiana di Economia (SIE), and Società Italiana di Economia e Politica Industriale (SIEPI).
