ENTRANCE and OPENING SENTENCES
By Reverend Victor Cuthbert

HYMN
I vow to thee, my country, all earthly things above,
Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love;
The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test,
That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best;
The love that never falters, the love that pays the price,
The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice.

And there's another country, I've heard of long ago,
Most dear to them that love her, most great to them that know;
We may not count her armies, we may not see her King;
Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering;
And soul by soul and silently her shining bounds increase,
And her ways are ways of gentleness and all her paths are peace.

EULOGY

READING
By Son Marco
Love, not prayers, shall be our offering this day.
We shall praise God with absolute embraces ...our bodies shall sing to Him
in His own comparable tongue.
Prayer is humbleness, I cannot be humble with the wealth of you beside me.
 from "This is my beloved" by W. Benton

POETRY READING
By Daughter Veronique
How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height that my soul can reach when feeling out of sight.
I love thee to the level of every day's most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love with a passion put to use in my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose with my lost saints,
I love thee with the breath, smiles, tears, of all my life!
and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.
from "How do I love thee" by E.B Browning

PRAYERS
including
THE LORD's PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread;
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those
Who trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom
The power and the glory,
For ever and ever. Amen.

How can we assist?

Thank you to everyone that has called, text'd & emailed us asking how they can be of assistance.
I remember Uncle Sean singing at our Grandmother Elsie's funeral with all his heart.
It has left a lasting impression with me and I have taken a valuable lesson away from that experience:
You have but one chance to celebrate and sing goodbye to the ones you love.
Do it loudly, do it proudly.
For me, that would be a great sentiment for this day.
Anyone that wishes to actively participate in the funeral by reading or performing please do contact us so that we can try to accommodate your wishes...
