Welcome to my website!
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) and a 2025/26 Job Market Candidate. I received my PhD in Quantitative Economics from Kiel University, where my dissertation examined management opposition and unionization activities. My research lies in labor and public economics, where I typically combine field and survey experiments with quasi-experimental methods.
I have completed research stays at Princeton (2019) and MIT Sloan School of Management (2023), and will visit the Social Research Institute at University College London in Fall 2025.
My research spans labor, experimental, and public economics, with ongoing projects on:
Employer opposition to unions
Unionization intentions
Workers’ perceptions and valuation of non-wage amenities
Cognitive consequences of war
Perceptions on inequality in lief expectancy
