The persecuted burrowers

There is no justification for killing thousands of badgers
A  misguided attempt to control bovine tuberculosis.

6.4% - 18% badgers took longer than

five minutes to die1,771 number of badgers culled

£10Million cost of badger cull,

Whether or not you believe that badgers

play a role in infecting (or re-infecting)

cattle with bovine TB (bTB), the key point is that all

reliable scientific evidence says that culling badgers

will not work. We think that the government

and farmers are scapegoating badgers

to avoid addressing the real cause of bTB

We think that the government and farmers

are scapegoating badgers to avoid addressing

the real cause of bTB: bad farming practices.

Total of 1,861 badgers killed this means

at least 111 badgers died a painful

and lingering death.

The report states this figure could be

as high as 18%, meaning 335 badgers

died in this way.

This means the pilot culls failed on humaneness.

inside out project

INSIDE OUT is a large-scale participatory art project that transforms messages of personal identity into pieces of artistic work.

iNSIDE OUT is a large-scale participatory art project that transforms messages of personal identity into pieces of artistic work. Everyone is challenged to use black and white photographic portraits to discover, reveal and share the untold stories and images of people around the world. These digitally uploaded images will be made into posters and sent back to the project’s co-creators for them to exhibit in their own communities. People can participate as an individual or in a group; posters can be placed anywhere, from a solitary image in an office window to a wall of portraits on an abandoned building or a full stadium. These exhibitions will be documented, archived and viewable virtually.INSIDE OUT is a collaboration between the artist JR, the TED Prize and you. http://www.insideoutproject.net
