Hey folks! These guys would love to get into the Pathfinder publishing business but their Kickstarter is coming up a bit short. If their book looks appealing to you why not sign on to as a backer? Check it out! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1708940685/rogue-glory-a-pathfinder-supplement

How many times do I have to beg???

We have hundreds of monsters just freaking out back in our monster pen. But guess what? We just can't let them out until we are happy that they're all pretty and healthy! That's where YOU come in! Do you like monsters? Do you like making sure they're mechanically correct in terms of Pathfinder rules? Do you know how to convert monsters (the real way, not some way you made up yesterday!) from 3.0 or 3.5 D&D to Pathfinder? Why not join up with our crew and help us push some of these big fat lazy monsters out into the wide world where they can start making something of themselves????

Fire off an email to join the crew!

Know a little HTML? Have some spare time? The crew is hard at work getting Bestiary 3 ready to go in early January but we can use more people with a passing knowledge of HTML to help! There's a ton of new monsters and we need all the help we can get. If you've got some time and want to get involved, shoot me an email (jreyst@gmail.com)! Include or send the email from a Google ID so I can add you into the system as fast as possible. Let's get going!

Show Your Support

Please read this and consider showing your appreciation for a TV show which attempts to show Muslim Americans as something other than radical fundamentalists out to destroy us all by signing the petition. The show called "All-American Muslim" deserves recognition and appreciation for their efforts, and advertisers should not be frightened into not advertising during the show. As a resident of the Detroit Michigan area I have only ever extremely positive experiences with the local Muslim and Arab community and giving in to fear-mongering by radicals serves no one except the radicals.

Thanks- John

Creighton Broadhurst (is that not the coolest name ever?) of Raging Swan Press was extremely kind to let us post his adventure locale "The Lonely Coast" here for you to download, free of charge. This adventure locale is suitable for PCs level 1‐5. There are two versions available for download: one suitable for printing and one that is best viewed on a monitor.

If you like what you see you really should check out more stuff from Raging Swan. They make awesome stuff! (not to mention Creighton's a pretty swell dude!)

With your help my daughter's school finished FIRST IN MICHIGAN and 23rd NATIONWIDE in the Glee Give a Note competition! WOOT WOOT! I'm sure there are many deserving schools which could certainly use the money for their music programs but if going by votes alone we're a shoe-in! Anyway, thanks again!

U-Con Gaming Convention 11/11 to 11/13

posted Oct 11, 2011, 10:37 AM by John Reyst   [ updated Oct 11, 2011, 10:57 AM ]

U-Con is a large southeastern Michigan gaming convention held every year since 1988. Up until this year it had been held at the Student Union of the University of Michigan in downtown Ann Arbor Michigan. It attracts gamers not only from Southeast Michigan, but from across the United states and several other countries as well. U-Con offers a wide variety of role-playing events, board and war games, Live Action RPG's and collectable card game tournaments and events. It is one of the largest gaming conventions in Michigan.

Due to rising hotel rates, increasing administrative and parking hassles, and worst of all, conflicting schedules with major Michigan home football games taking over the town at the same time, this year marks the first year it is being held elsewhere. However, the new location is a marked improvement. If you are in the region the new amenities may be more to your liking than in previous years.

The new location is the Metropolitan Hotel, in Romulus near Detroit Metro Airport (31500 Wick Rd., Romulus, MI, 48174).

Improvements over previous years:

  • FREE PARKING. Parking won't cost anything, and you don't have to worry about tickets! This has been the most common complaint about the Student Union in Ann Arbor.
  • Reduced price weekend pass: The price of a weekend pass is reduced $5 from last year (see Weekend Passes below for prices.)
  • All events on one floor, with convenient access to exits for wheeling in carts of minis or dealer merchandise.
  • The Convention is in a hotel, so we'll be able to offer rooms on site at a discounted rate of $65/night (a limited number of larger suites are also available; email us for info).
  • 24-hour gaming space. Come and play all night!
  • Free WiFi access in convention area AND in hotel rooms.
  • Free continental breakfast for hotel guests.
  • Free airport shuttle to and from the hotel.
  • Rooms are only $65/night and include: indoor/outdoor heated pool, whirlpool & sauna, 24 hr. fitness center, on-site movie theater, game room and more.

Can You Run Something?

They need all the RPG events they can get. They'd like to make this the biggest year ever and you can get your weekend pass for free if you run at least one event. Read the GM information and then if you're ready to go, read about submitting an event.

Want to Play Pathfinder Society Events?

Litchford Family Fundraiser Gamefest - Urbana, IL - October 8

posted Sep 12, 2011, 8:42 PM by John Reyst   [ updated Sep 12, 2011, 8:46 PM ]

Mike Litchford was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer this past April. His friends thought they would have several months with him to roll lots of d20s and share more time with him, but his treatment was unable to slow the cancer down and sadly he passed in July. There are others who miss him even more than his gaming friends do though - his wife Ariana, 4-year old son Moses, and 1-year old daughter Zoe. All funds collected for event entries and raffles will go to the family's fund.  Please consider helping out Mike's family.

See the thread on the Paizo boards or for full details at http://armored-gopher.com/litchford
