Move slow but can move their full speed climbing, while climbing normally no chance to fall.
Can make 50' normal rope per one (1) full day work but must be processed 1 week to last as long as normal rope. can make 50' normal rope per one(1) full day work but must be processed 1 month to last, but can be moved on at full web travel speed, and harder to cut than normal rope (-5) minus five on to hit roll .
Has insect specific paralitic poison bite, causing (1) hp damage on failed save vs poison critical failure causes -----. the poison is used during ritual hunts, and used to capture insect riding beasts.
To aquire a riding insect requires a Web-man to capture, addict to his bite, and train a new steed, suprisingly this only takes one week but this is only for a 1d3+1, high dice are possible but take more time and higher lvl poison either higher hit dice 'cast', or level Web-man.
All Queen 'web-men' are full talents and so can advance in level. they go through an adventuring phase.
Normal drones are semi-talent officers and work their way up until they are at small colony captain lvl or higher. Then when a queen takes her mating flight, they compete with others for the queen, but this competation also includes ronin
drones 'adventurers' this gains the winning drone command authority "Queens Champion" over the combat elements of the Colony/hive. the permanent mental control of certain 'grubs' equal to the Champions number of possible Henchmen but do not count toward that number of
actual henchmen, these grubs leave that status when they metamorph, they will do so into vetern combat units even though as grubs they can't fight. if a possesed grub is killed the Queens Champion loses a level temperarily if save against death fails, it will be gained back when the champion gains enough xp as if gaining the level in the first place, but on doing so the points are present towards the next lvl advancement
Such steeds over time are "decorated" with a saddle that allows a plus four save against 'dislogment' but this requires a healthy web-man six months of decoration the first plus is gained when the steed finished training, then one more every two months after until +4 is reached, the ritual continues for two more months to "polish" the saddle which at this point covers the steeds carapas and only now when finished gives a plus two (+2) barding but no movement or weight penalty.
