2nd Annual PHCA Home Tour

What is it:

Seven Bay Area homes built with the latest in home energy efficiency and sustainable design will be open all day for self-guided walk-through tours with informational placards and experts available to answer questions. You can purchase tickets here.

Who is coming?
Everyone!  The curious, the adventures, the do-ers, all those bright-eyed and bushy-tailed homeowners, students, renters and community members.

Why are they coming?
To get a first-hand experience of the health and comfort benefits of Passive House design, learn about building and retrofitting homes to the Passive House performance standard, and connect with other members of their community interested in healthy, sustainable living.

When is it?
10am - 4pm Saturday, September 10th, 2011.

Who Are We:
We are a group of individuals that have been brought together by our passion for energy efficiency, sustainable design, and healthy living. We are members of the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Passive House California.

Q. Can I bring my kids?
A. Yes!  All the houses are happy to have little visitors.

Q. Do I have to go to all the open houses?
A. No, you can go to as many or as few houses as you want, in whatever order is most convenient for you.

Q. Do I have to pay ahead of time?
A. Tickets are available for purchase before hand at Eventbrite. Purchasing a ticket before hand allows us to estimate the number of attendees and helps us plan a great event, but don't let that stop you from coming - it's ok to just show up and pay at the door.
