With the particle card games, we won a 2nd prize in the Innovation Contest of the Eötvös Loránd University.

We have recently been quite busy with the second Hungarian and English edition of our book.
Finally we finished both editions, which includes the rules of the game, and the cards.
To buy the English version of our book, follow this link to lulu.com:
Note that this is really about elementary particles on your own, given that in the English edition you have to cut
the cards out from the last pages of the book. Currently we do not have a better way to disseminate this game
on such a large geographical area. We hope to find some professional card game or book publisher who can do this for us.
Note that in Hungary we already disseminate the game in a more professionally organized form.
If you want to get the Hungarian version with a fully printed professional quality deck of cards,
please follow the link to Gemklub.hu:
For some pictures of this second Hungarian edition, please see the following link:
We hope that this can be taken as a model to translate this book to other languages too.
We have written a book in Hungarian about card games with elementary particles. By now, this has been translated to English: the first version was available on January 4, 2011, while the second English edition is also available from summer 2011. The English title of this book is: Quark Matter Card Game - Elementary Particles on Your Own.
In it, you can read about the evolution of particle physics, the Standard Model, and about topics, like quark-gluon plasma and cosmic showers. The rules of the card games and the cards are also included in the book.
By now, you can order the 2nd, extended English edition below:
If you read Hungarian, you can get the 1st Hungarian edition here:
But currently we recommend the 2nd, extended Hungarian edition, available for example from here:
