2006.         Project:       Paleoanthropological surveys and GIS mapping in the Narmada Basin, Central India as principal investigator. Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research. In collaboration with V. Sathe, M.A.J. Williams, R. Patnaik, and M. Sisk.


2006.         Project:       Tracing the earliest human dispersals out of Africa: The Plio-Pleistocene evidence 
from Yemen as principal investigator. American Institute of Yemeni Studies. In collaboration with Dr. Saif Ali Othman (Sana’a University).


2005.         Project:        Environmental impacts of an extreme event: The Toba Mega-eruption, volcanic 
winter and the near demise of humans as collaborator from the Australian Research Council (PI: M.A.J. Williams).


2003.         Project:        Search for hominid fossils and stone tools in the Narmada Valley as co-investigator 
from the National Geographic Society (PI: Rajeev Patnaik)


2002.         Project:        Siwalik Hominid Project as participant (Phase I of doctoral fieldwork from the 
Australian Research Council (PI: David Cameron)
