Parth Bhavsar obtained a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Intelligent Transportation System from Clemson University in Aug, 2013, under the guidance of Dr. Mashrur (Ronnie) Chowdhury. His research interests are Intelligent Transportation Systems (Self driving / Driver less / Automated vehicles and connected infrastructure ) and Transportation Data Analytics (machine learning, smart data collection, processing and analytics systems). His work has been published in several peer reviewed journals, which includes Transportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies and Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board.
