About the CSA

History

The Parker Farm CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program was started in 2003 with several objectives in mind:  1) to give people access to locally grown produce in a way that was both economical and convenient and 2) to support small scale farming in Massachusetts.  

Signing Up

To become a shareholder of the Parker Farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), please fill out the sign-up form. Once submitted, mail the amount due to:

Important: Make checks payable to Parker Farm and include a note with the following:
  1. The Primary Shareholders Name
  2. Share Type
  3. Share Size
  4. Pickup Location

Share Types

There are two share types to pick from:

Traditional Share: A small ($475), which has 6-8 items, or large ($900), which has 12-16 items, to be picked up in the Cambridge/Somerville area or at the farm in Lunenburg. (NOTE: A returning shareholder discount will be applied to returning shareholders who sign up before December 31, 2016.)

Davis Square

  • Number of Weeks: 20
  • Day: Tuesdays
  • Time: 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
  • Location: 14 St. James Ave., Somerville

Central Square 

  • Number of Weeks: 20
  • Day: Wednesdays
  • Time: 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
  • Location: Parking lot # 6 on the corner of Bishop Allen and Columbia, Cambridge 

Farm 

  • Number of Weeks: 20
  • Day: Saturdays
  • Time: Mornings
  • Location: 800 Lancaster Ave, Lunenburg, MA 01462 

NEW Farmers Market Share: The pricing is by number of items you want each week. Any 4 items is $325; any 6 items is $415; and any 8 items is $500.

Union Square Farmers Market 

  • Number of Weeks: 25 
  • Day: Saturdays
  • Time: 9 am to 1 pm
  • Location: Union Sq., Somerville
