I am an NIH postdoctoral research fellow in the Farokhzad lab at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital. I explore the biomedical applications of nanomaterials and probe the role of mechanics in tissue engineering, drug delivery, and medical devices. I received my Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Prior to joining the Farokhzad lab, I was an AAUW postdoctoral research fellow in the Khademhosseini lab (2015-2016) and a Visiting Assistant Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology (2013-2014).
