"I can't just storm in and proclaim my intentions. I can't ‘steal' you away. I just have to wait and hope that, someday, you'll ask," Tamani said.

"And if I don't?" Laurel said, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Then I guess I'll be waiting forever."

Although Laurel has come to accept her true identity as a faerie, she refuses to turn her back on her human life—and especially her boyfriend, David—to return to the faerie world.

But when she is summoned to Avalon, Laurel's feelings for the charismatic faerie sentry Tamani are undeniable. She is forced to make a choice—a choice that could break her heart.

    Sexual Content:

-Laurel and David go to a party where someone spikes the punch with alcohol.  Laurel doesn’t drink it because it makes her nauseated, but David does.

-A woman gives Laurel and David guns to protect themselves against the trolls.  David takes them, but Laurel doesn’t want them.

-Mention of a man who grew marijuana.

    Was it any good?

Well, unfortunately, I’d have to say not really.   I actually went out and bought this book when it came out because I did enjoy the first one, but with the exception of a few minor run-ins with some trolls, absolutely nothing happened in this book.  I think you could read the first book, then probably read the third book (when it comes out) and not miss a beat.  Not to mention the completely unnecessary sexual comments that did not fit with the rest of the book.  I’d say skip it, or at least don’t spend money on it.  Blog Review
