Pardon My Dust!


Stone sculpture is a dirty, dusty, noisy art.  It can be physically challenging just to move a rock.  It can be mentally challenging when the stone reveals hidden fractures, testing the artist's’ vision of design. It can be emotionally exhausting to spend hours encased in safety glasses, ear protection, and respirator equipment; isolated, yet completely focused on developing a relationship with the stone. My passion for carving is inspired by this process of creating shape and form.....
