Paranormal Activity 2 (2010)

Paramount Pictures has given the first preview to "Paranormal Activity 2" in a form of teaser trailer. Containing glimpses of scenes set in a bedroom, kitchen as well as living room, the video manages to make those watching it freaked out with the scary noise, barking dog and swaying things.

The sequel to last year’s surprise supernatural hit, which made over $151 million worldwide and was made on a $15,000 budget.

The film will be going head-to-head with Lionsgate’s Saw 7 3D and the director Kevin Greutert  was slated to actually direct the sequel to the nerve-shredding hit of last year.

It will be the battle to end all. There can only be one? Early rumors suggest Pa stars Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat will return.

A lot is riding on Paranormal Activity 2. It’s tapped into the zeitgeist as well as the poltergeist. While little detail has been released about the sequel, it would seem that director Kip Williams will follow the camcorder style of the 2009 hit.

When your movie costs about 15 grand and you pull in just under $200 million worldwide, you're pretty much guaranteed a sequel with no questions asked.
