Telephone Telepathy Test
The Transfer of Thought

The Transfer of Thought
Telephone Telepathy Test - This was my first attempt at reading someone's thoughts over the telephone. The caller is someone that contacted me through the Magic Cafe. It should be noted that we had never met or spoke before arranging a time to talk on the phone. This is the entire un-edited conversation.

Telepathy is the ostensible transfer of information on thoughts or feelings between individuals by means other than the five senses.

The term was coined in 1882 by the classical scholar Fredric W. H. Myers, a founder of the Society for Psychical Research, specifically to replace the earlier expression thought-transference.

A person who is able to make use of telepathy is said to be able to read the thoughts and stored information in the brain of others.

Telepathy, along with psychokinesis, forms the main branches of parapsychological research, and many studies seeking to detect, understand, and utilize telepathy have been done within the field.

Among the reasons the concept has not been accepted by the scientific community is that there is no accepted mechanism by which telepathy can work.

As well, there is no definition which unambiguously distinguishes it from a number of other related concepts such as clairvoyance. Telepathy is a common theme in modern fiction and science fiction, with many superheroes and supervillains having telepathic abilities. Such abilities include sensing the thoughts of others.

It is possible this could be faked with the amount of information that is available now through the means of the internet but this could be real as well.

Many people are able to pick up on words that others say and this is called cold reading. Telepathy (also known as thought transference) is basically considered to be the transfer of thoughts from a senders mind to a receivers mind. There are three types of telepathy and they are: Physical, emotional and mental telepathy.

Telepathy skills are considered to be known in all human beings but twins generally possess these skills more so then others.

Is it possible that people can actually possess such powers as telepathy? Some believe it is real and that these people can read thoughts stored in the brains of others.
