Bob Lazar and S-4 near Area 51
Reverse Engineering Alien Technology

Robert Lazar describing in detail the alien craft that he claimed to have worked on, in an attempt to reverse-engineer its technology. He also mentions the briefing he was given, telling him that it was indeed alien technology.

Robert Scott Lazar or Bob Lazar (born January 26th, 1959, in Coral Gables, Florida, United States, to Albert Lazar and Phyllis Berliner), claims to have worked from 1988 until 1989 as a physicist at an area called S-4 (Sector Four), located near Groom Lake, Nevada, next to Area 51.

According to Lazar, S-4 served as a hidden military location for the study and possible reverse engineering of extraterrestrial flying saucers. Lazar says he saw nine different discs there and provides details on their mode of propulsion.

His critics have asserted that "Lazar's credibility crumbled" after "schools he was supposed to have attended had no record of him, while others in the scientific community had no memory of ever meeting him."

S-4 (Sector Four) is a specific plot of land located within Nevada's Nellis Air Force Range (Now referred to as NTTR) at Area 51. The S-4 facility is 15 miles SouthWest of Area 51's Groom Lake facility, containing an alleged United States Air Force installation located at Papoose Lake.

The site is protected from all view, as it is located within a valley and hidden under the Papoose Range. The USAF owns all surrounding land and is protected by the same laws as Area 51, so it is near impossible to get a public glimpse of such a facility or its surrounding areas.

The site came to public attention in 1989 when Bob Lazar stated that he had worked there studying and reverse engineering alien aircraft or UFO's.

According to Lazar, S-4 consists of nine hangars excavated into the side of the mountain range just off the Papoose Lake bed. The hangars are sloped at 60 degrees and are camouflaged to blend in with the mountainside.

S-4 also contains a number of interior shop areas in addition to the hangars, such as a briefing room, a laboratory, a nurse's office, a restroom, and the reception area.

Although the hangars at S-4 contained nine extraterrestrial crafts, Lazar only had close contact with one such craft, which he nicknamed the "Sport Model".

The sizes and shapes of the craft at S-4 varied considerably. The Sport Model had the appearance of a classic flying saucer, while some of the other craft resembled a top hat or a Jello mold.

Personnel working at S-4 would reach the base by first arriving at Groom Lake and then taking a bus to the installation via a very long and winding dirt road.

Once the bus reached S-4, the bus would drive the length of the hangars and then park at the entrance area at the back of the installation.

Lazar claims that at one time Russian scientists worked at the base, but were kicked out.

Bob Lazar claims that he worked at Sector Four in which he studied and reverse engineered alien aircraft's known as UFOs. Although some people such as Stanton T. Friedman believe he is a fraud, others such as George Knapp believe he is telling the truth.

Bob Lazar Speaks Publicly About Area 51

During the spring of 1989, Lazar took several of his friends to Groom Lake, where they witnessed an unidentified flying object at the exact time that Lazar claimed it would be there.

One of Lazar's friends who saw the UFO, Gene Huff, described it:

The disc came up around the same place but, this time, it staged a breathtaking performance. It repeated moves similar to the week before, but this time it came down the mountain range toward us.

At first it seemed far away, then you'd blink and it would seem a lot closer, then you'd blink again and it would seem a LOT closer.

It wasn't the same sensation as seeing a set of headlights on a car or landing lights on a jet approach you at night time. There was no sense of continual movement toward you, it just sort of "jumps" toward you and this is very alarming to your brain.

Bob explained that this is because of it's method of propulsion and the way it distorts space/time and light.

The hardest thing for Bob Lazar is that Stanton T. Friedman claims he is a fraud. And Friedman has a gravitational pull in Ufology and science fields.

But George Knapp (a very respected journalist) and John Lear (highly regarded pilot and credentials with the government) who personally witnessed the truly frightful suffering and public persecutions with humiliations of Bob Lazar after making public to his allegations and claims.

And so far Bob Lazar has yet to falter in remaining consistent to his details in the 20 odd years without the need to take advantage of self importance and to even exaggerate his stories over time.

So it's hard to just dismiss his claims.

Although in this light of UFO Hunters approach to his plight, they seem to put credibility enough to his story especially with 2 men with high integrity and credible background who are convinced and committed in believing in him.....

The Bob Lazar Video - Alien Technology

Bob Lazar shatters the cloak of secrecy surrounding the Unites States military's most highly sensitive operations located at an area known as S4 of Area 51, in the Nevada Air Force Range.

Lazar gives a full account of Alien spacecraft the Government has hidden at S4 as well as details on their propulsion systems and how they operate. Bob Lazar was part of the reverse-engineering team.

As chief physicist on project "Galileo", Lazar reveals what the US Military has known and held secret for decades. The Lazar Tape - describes and portrays the components and capabilities of an extraterrestrial vehicle used for interstellar space travel; a gravity propelled disc.

Between December 1988 and April of 1989, as a young nuclear physicist, Bob Lazar was part of the back engineering team. As part of this team his job was to understand and attempt to duplicate the propulsion systems of these craft.

The witnessing of the UFO by Lazar's friends is one of the few examples where Lazar's story was corroborated by dependant witnesses.

Lazar, Huff, and others who witnessed the UFO claim that it was extraterrestrial, while more parsimonious explanations, such as unmanned aerial vehicles, cannot be discounted.

Lazar would later take friends to view two more such events and on the third such excursion they state they were caught by security personnel who asked for identification, and let them go with a warning.

The next day when Lazar reported to work at EG&G, his supervisor, Dennis Mariani, informed him that he would not be going to Groom Lake.

He and Mariani instead drove to Indian Springs Air Force Base, and during the drive Mariani reprimanded Lazar for bringing friends to view a disk test flight. At Indian Springs, Lazar was debriefed and was told that he and his friends would be arrested for espionage if they ever trespassed on Groom Lake again.

However, bringing his friends to see the test flight was not the only reason his employment at S-4 was terminated. Government agents had discovered that Lazar's wife was having an affair, and feared that once Lazar found out about this it would negatively impact his psychological health.

He had the opportunity to apply for employment at S-4 again in 6 to 9 months. After he lost his job at S-4, he states he was harassed. According to Lazar, his phones were tapped, he was frequently followed, and on one occasion a drive-by shooter made an attempt on his life.

George Knapp - Bob Lazar's Disappearing Background

George Knapp and Bob Lazar briefly discuss Bob's missing school and employment records.

Lazar says he has degrees from the California Institute of Technology and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1993, the Los Angeles Times looked into his background and found there was no evidence to support his claims.

Stanton Friedman was only able to verify that Lazar took electronics courses in the late 1970s at Pierce Junior College. The Times did discover that in 1990 Lazar had pled guilty to felony pandering, declared bankruptcy and listed his occupation as self-employed photo processor on documents.

A 1991 Times article reported, Lazar was "on probation in Clark County, Nevada, on a pandering charge. His educational and professional background cannot be verified -- a fact he attributes to government deletion of records."

[UPDATE] Apparently an M.I.T student who was a PhD in Math admitted to remembering Lazar from M.I.T.

What has been stated by others - the following is true - If the US Government wanted YOU to disappear, with no identity, no "background" and no "records", you would disappear.

Fearing for his safety, Lazar approached George Knapp of KLAS-TV in Las Vegas to tell the public about his story. His first interview with Knapp in May 1989 drew international attention.

In November 1989, Lazar appeared in a special interview with investigative reporter George Knapp on Las Vegas TV station KLAS  to discuss his purported employment at S-4. In his interview with Knapp, Lazar said he first thought the saucers were secret, terrestrial aircraft, whose test flights must have been responsible for many UFO reports.

Gradually, on closer examination and from having been shown multiple briefing documents, Lazar came to the conclusion that the discs must have been of extraterrestrial origin. In his filmed testimony, Lazar explains how this impression first hit him after he boarded the craft under study and examined their interior.

For the propulsion of the studied vehicles, Bob Lazar claims that the atomic element 115 served as a nuclear fuel. Element 115 (nicknamed 'Ununpentium' (Uup)) reportedly provided an energy source which would produce anti-gravity effects under proton bombardment along with the production of antimatter used for energy production.

Lazar's website says, as the intense strong nuclear force field of element 115's nucleus would be properly amplified, the resulting effect would be a distortion of the surrounding gravitational field, allowing the vehicle to immediately shorten the distance to a charted destination.

Lazar also claims that he was given introductory briefings describing the historical involvement by extraterrestrial beings with this planet for 10,000 years. The beings originate from the Zeta Reticuli 1 & 2 star system and are therefore referred to as Zeta Reticulians, popularly called 'Greys'.

Stan Friedman on UFO frauds and Bob Lazar

Ufologist Stan Friedman talks about the problem of UFO frauds, and Bob Lazar in particular, in this excerpt from the 2001 interview I conducted with him for the documentary of Stanton T. Friedman is Real.
