Fran Capo is the worlds fastest talking woman. Capo, who holds three world records for her speedy gift of the gab, has arrived in Australia this week for the very first time touring Sydney and Melbourne.


Fran is down-under to celebrate the in-store arrival of another world-record breaker in the speed department BigPonds 21 USB Mobile Card, which operates on the worlds fastest national mobile broadband network the Telstra Next G™ network.

Fran Capo is no stranger to the Guinness World Records she holds a record for being the worlds fastest talking female after she clocked an amazing 603.32 words in 54.2 seconds that's 11 words a second! Fran Capo is a motivational speaker, adventurer, comedian, voice-over artist, 15-time author and holder of 5 world records. Fran Capo was born in Greenwich Village in New York City. She graduated from Queens College with a BA in Philosophy and Accounting.

Fran is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records (1989), Ripley's Believe it or Not! (2006) and the Book of Alternative Records (2006).

She is currently listed in the Guinness World Records as the fastest-talking female, having broken the record twice. Capo set the current record on June 5th, 1990 at the Guinness Museum in Las Vegas, speaking 603.32 words in 54.2 seconds.

She first broke the record speaking 585 words-per-minute (wpm) on Larry King Live on March 5th, 1986.

Capo also holds a record for highest elevation for a book signing, as the only author to do a book-signing on top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, signing copies of her books Adrenaline Adventures and Almost a Wise Guy on July 10th, 2004.


She also holds the record for lowest elevation for a book signing, and the first to conduct a memorial prayer service at the wreck site of the RMS Titanic, performing both in a submersible July 10th, 2005.


Capo has been on over 250 television shows and 1000 radio shows including Entertainment Tonight, Larry King Live, Last Call with Carson Daly, Good Morning America, Nick at Nite, Discovery Channel and the Martha Stewart Show. She has written for international magazines as well as for her own weekly blog called Fran's World.

Capo has also appeared in FOXNews.com show Last Call w/Rick Leventhal on July 14th, 2009. Fran has also been a spokesperson for many companies including Masterfoods, Auntie Anne's Pretzels, Authorhouse, and Ripley's Believe it or Not!.
