at 9:37 a.m. A fourth flight, United Airlines Flight 93, crashed near
Shanksville, Pennsylvania, at 10:03 a.m, after the passengers on board
engaged in a fight with the hijackers.
Its ultimate target was thought
to be either the Capitol (the meeting place of the United States
Congress) or the White House.
Some passengers were able to make
phone calls using the cabin airphone service and mobile phones, and
provide details, including that several hijackers were aboard each
plane, that mace or other form of noxious chemical spray, such as tear
gas or pepper spray was used, and that some people aboard had been

September 11 2001 Video
A September 11th 2001 tribute, watch what happened that horrible
morning at the World Trade Center buildings, a terrible event of what happened on the towers basements as well. Never Forget 9/11/01
In a September 2002 interview conducted by documentary maker Yosri Fouda, an al Jazeera journalist, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Ramzi Binalshibh, who are believed to have organised the attacks, stated that the fourth hijacked plane was heading for the United States Capitol, which they gave the codename "the Faculty of Law", not for the White House.
They further stated that al-Qaeda initially planned to fly hijacked jets into nuclear installations rather than the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, but it was decided not to attack nuclear power plants "for the moment" because of fears it could "get out of control".
Three buildings in the World Trade Center Complex collapsed due to structural failure on the day of the attack. The south tower (2 WTC) fell at approximately 9:59 a.m., after burning for 56 minutes in a fire caused by the impact of United Airlines Flight 175.
The north tower (1 WTC) collapsed at 10:28 a.m., after burning for approximately 102 minutes. When the north tower collapsed, debris that fell on the nearby 7 World Trade Center (7 WTC) building damaged it and initiated fires.
These fires burned for hours and compromised the building's structural integrity, which led to the crumbling of the east penthouse at 5:20 p.m. and to the complete collapse of the building at 5:21 p.m.
The attacks created widespread confusion among news organizations and air traffic controllers across the United States. All international civilian air traffic was banned from landing on U.S. soil for three days. Aircraft already in flight were either turned back or redirected to airports in Canada or Mexico.
News sources aired unconfirmed and often contradictory reports throughout the day. One of the most prevalent of these reported that a car bomb had been detonated at the U.S. State Department's headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Soon after reporting for the first time on the Pentagon crash, some news media also briefly reported that a fire had broken out on the National Mall. Another report went out on the Associated Press wire, claiming that a Delta Air Lines airliner—Flight 1989—had been hijacked.
This report, too, turned out to be in error; the plane was briefly thought to represent a hijack risk, but it responded to controllers and landed safely in Cleveland, Ohio.
"The Falling Man" is a nickname given to a man who fell from the North Tower of the World Trade Center during the September 11 attacks in New York City, and is also the title of a photograph, magazine story and documentary film about the incident.
The photo was taken by Richard Drew at 9:41:15 a.m. on September 11, 2001. The story, written by Tom Junod, appeared in the September 2003 issue of Esquire magazine, and was later made into a film.
The subject of the image — whose identity remains uncertain, although attempts have been made to identify him — was one of the people trapped on the upper floors of the skyscraper who apparently chose to jump rather than die from the fire and smoke. As many as 200 people jumped to their deaths that day; there was no time to recover or identify those who jumped prior to the collapse of the towers.
Officially, all deaths in the attacks except those of the hijackers were ruled to be homicides (as opposed to suicides), and the New York City medical examiner's office stated that it does not classify the people who fell to their deaths on September 11th as "jumpers": "A 'jumper' is somebody who goes to the office in the morning knowing that they will commit suicide... These people were forced out by the smoke and flames or blown out."
Five years after the attacks, Jonathan Briley, a 43-year-old employee of the Windows on the World restaurant, was identified by chef Michael Lomonaco as The Falling Man.
Jonathan Briley - The Falling Man
He was an employee of the Windows on the World restaurant and was identified as the "Falling Man".
The photograph initially appeared in newspapers around the world, including on page 7 of The New York Times on September 12th, 2001.
It appeared only once in the Times because of criticism and anger against its use. Six years later, it appeared on page 1 of the New York Times Book Review on May 27th, 2007.
Briley was a sound engineer who lived in Mount Vernon, New York and worked in the North Tower restaurant. According to the film, the victim was initially identified by his brother in the morgue by the victim's hands and shoes.
Lomonaco claims that he was able to identify Briley by his clothes and body-type. In one of the pictures, The Falling Man's clothes were blown away, revealing an orange undershirt similar to the shirt that Briley wore to work almost every day.
September 11 Investigations
9/11 was one of the most pivotal events in world history. Its impact will be felt for years to come.
You owe it to yourself to go beyond the sound bites and the simplified official story. This is an extremely complicated story with numerous players and motives.
The 9/11 information doesn't all make sense or fit neatly together. It's a story full of espionage, deceit, and lies.
But if there are forces out there tricking us, they can only succeed if we, the general public, remain ignorant and passive.
Nearly 3,000 victims and the 19 hijackers died in the attacks. According to the New York State Health Department, 836 responders, including firefighters and police personnel, have died as of June 2009.
Among the 2,752 victims who died in the attacks on the World Trade Center were 343 firefighters and 60 police officers from New York City and the Port Authority.
184 people were killed in the attacks on the Pentagon. The overwhelming majority of casualties were civilians, including nationals of over 70 countries. In addition, there was at least one secondary death—one person was ruled by a medical examiner to have died from lung disease due to exposure to dust from the collapse of the World Trade Center.
Immediately after the attacks, the Federal Bureau of Investigation started PENTTBOM, the largest criminal inquiry in the history of the United States. The FBI told the U.S. Senate that there is "clear and irrefutable" evidence linking Al Qaida and Bin Laden to the attacks.
The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (9/11 Commission), chaired by former New Jersey Governor Thomas Kean, was formed in late 2002 to prepare a thorough account of the circumstances surrounding the attacks, including preparedness for, and the immediate response to, the attacks.
On July 22nd, 2004, the 9/11 Commission issued the 9/11 Commission Report. The commission and its report have been subject to criticism.

A federal technical building and fire safety investigation of the collapses of the Twin Towers and 7 WTC has been conducted by the United States Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
The goals of this investigation were to determine why the buildings collapsed, the extent of injuries and fatalities, and the procedures involved in designing and managing the World Trade Center.
The investigation into the collapse of 1 WTC and 2 WTC was concluded in October 2005, and the investigation into the collapse of 7 WTC concluded in August 2008. The report concluded that the fireproofing on the Twin Towers' steel infrastructures was blown off by the initial impact of the planes and that, if this had not occurred, the towers would likely have remained standing.
A study published by researchers of Purdue University confirmed that, if the thermal insulation on the core columns were scoured off and column temperatures were elevated to approximately 700 °C (1,292 °F), the fire would have been sufficient to initiate collapse.
W. Gene Corley, the director of the original investigation, commented that "the towers really did amazingly well. The terrorist aircraft didn’t bring the buildings down; it was the fire which followed. It was proven that you could take out two thirds of the columns in a tower and the building would still stand."
The fires weakened the trusses supporting the floors, making the floors sag. The sagging floors pulled on the exterior steel columns to the point where exterior columns bowed inward. With the damage to the core columns, the buckling exterior columns could no longer support the buildings, causing them to collapse.
In addition, the report asserts that the towers' stairwells were not adequately reinforced to provide emergency escape for people above the impact zones.
NIST concluded that uncontrolled fires in 7 WTC caused floor beams and girders to heat and subsequently "caused a critical support column to fail, initiating a fire-induced progressive collapse that brought the building down".
The Inspector General of the CIA conducted an internal review of the CIA's pre-9/11 performance and was harshly critical of senior CIA officials for not doing everything possible to confront terrorism. He criticized their failure to stop two of the 9/11 hijackers, Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar, as they entered the United States and their failure to share information on the two men with the FBI.
In May 2007, senators from both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party drafted legislation that would openly present an internal CIA investigative report. One of the backers, Senator Ron Wyden stated "The American people have a right to know what the Central Intelligence Agency was doing in those critical months before 9/11.... I am going to bulldog this until the public gets it."
The report investigates the responsibilities of individual CIA personnel before and after the 9/11 attacks. The report was completed in 2005, but its details have never been released to the public.
|911 Conspiracy and Attack - Jesse Ventura
Jesse Ventura and his team of investigators dig deep into the
behind-the-scenes government doings. What he reveals will shock you and
awe you, but still, you're left to make up your own mind about what you
do or do not believe.
The idea that a missile or explosives—not a hijacked jetliner—damaged
the Pentagon on September 11, 2001 seems the most unlikely of 9/11
That is, until you look at all the factors, which include
eyewitness testimony, crime scene video, expert analysis and the
question why, with 85 cameras trained on the building, have only five
frames of crash footage have ever been released?
Jesse Ventura leads a
serious investigation into a tangled web of clues that some say are too
sacred to even touch.
WTC Security Alert Had Just Been Lifted
The World Trade Center

the landmark 110-story towers, security personnel said yesterday
Daria Coard, 37, a guard at Tower One, said the security

of numerous phone threats. But on Thursday [September 6], bomb-sniffing
dogs were abruptly removed. [NY NewsDay]
Pre-9/11 World Trade
On the weekend of 9/8, 9/9 there was a 'power
down' condition in WTC tower 2, the south tower. This power down
condition meant there was no electrical supply for approx 36 hrs from
floor 50 up... "Of course without power there were no security cameras,
no security locks on doors and many, many 'engineers' coming in and out
of the tower."
"It just went, 'Bam,' like a bomb went off. It was like holy hell," said a witness who was in one of the World Trade Center towers when it was hit by one of the planes.
"We heard a loud crash and the building started shaking, moving like a wave," said Matthew Cornelius, who had just arrived for work at the Port Authority offices when the first tower was hit.
"I saw people jumping off the building," said another witness. "Everyone was screaming, running ... people were stampeding, people started screaming that there was another plane coming and the second building just exploded."
"Horrendous number of lives were lost," said New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who was on the street outside the complex when the first plane crashed into the towers where 40,000 to 50,000 people may have been working.
"We do know that numbers of police and firemen are missing and pay tribute to their heroism," said New York Gov. George Pataki of the missing 78 officers and 200 firefighters who responded to the first attack.
"I can't imagine any American pilot crashing an airplane into one of these buildings even with a gun to the head. They wouldn't do that," said James Kallstrom, retired FBI agent who led the investigation into the 1996 crash of TWA 800.
"When I heard the sound of the explosion, the floor beneath my feet vibrated, the
walls started cracking and it everything started shaking...
Seconds after the first massive explosion below in the basement still
rattled the floor, I hear another explosion from way above ... Although
I was unaware at the time, this was the airplane hitting the tower, it occurred
moments after the first explosion ... I
know there were explosives placed below the trade center.
I helped a man to safety who is living proof, living proof the government
story is a lie and a cover-up. ... The
skin was hanging off his hands and arms. His injuries couldn't have come from
the airplane above, but only from a massive explosion below. I don't care what
the government says, what scientists say. I saw a man burned terribly from a
fire that was caused from an explosion below ...
I have tried to tell my story to everybody, but nobody wants to listen." - William Rodriguez (WTC janitor who single-handedly rescued fifteen people)
