Bachlors Grove Cemetary
(Site of numerous spirits)

This is an image of what appears to be a female entity in human form which was proportedly taken at Bachlors Grove Cemetary in Midlothian, Illinois. This 1800's era cemetary, largely abandoned since 1965 has been the site of countless reports of paranormal activity, confirmed and otherwise, as well as having been used by groups who supposedly practiced some form of "Devil Worship".
Although this site would be a prime location for further research with well over 100 confirmed reports of spontanious spectral phenomena, the cemetary has frequently fallen victim to vandelism. Hense further investigations at this site are no longer permitted.
We now have a video on our site that gives a little more information about Bachlors Grove Cemetary and some of its history.
This image can be found in various places on the net. Unfortunately, copywrite information is not available at this time and the image is believed to be in the public domain.

Wem Town Hall Ghost

Image of What has been dubbed the "Wem Town Hall Ghost". Taken during a fire at the building and proportedly shows the image of a young female who supposedly lived in the area where the Wem Town Hall was built. She was aledged to be a "fire started" in the terms of the day. If the information we have is accurate, today she would be classified as suffering from "Pyromania". Unfortunately, copywrite information is not available at this time and the image is believed to be in the public domain.
A cropped image showing just the area of interest. I made this modification to the original that is available at numerous locations on the net.
This is a "zoom in" on the area of the picture that is believed to be the face of the female entity from the Wem Town Hall Fire image. Unfortunately, copywrite information for the origninal is not available at this time and the image is believed to be in the public domain.

Philipino Mall Ghost

This photograph was taken alledgedly taken on a cell phone camera in the stock-room of a store in a malls in the Philippines. In the right hand side of the picture there is what appears to be humanoid looking figurefacing the camera.

Tewin Bury Farm Ghost

This amazing photo was taken by photographer and graphic designer Neil Sandbach in 2008. Neil was photographing some scenic shots at a farm Hertfordshire, England, as part of a project for wedding stationery; the couple planned to have their wedding ceremony held there.

Later, Neil was astonished when he examined the digital photo on his computer. There, as if peeking around a corner at him, is a ghostly, white, almost glowing figure of what looks like a child. Neil says he is quite sure there was no one there at the time.

There is further corroboration that this is a true ghost photo. Neil had shown the couple the anomalous photo, and before the wedding they asked the staff at the farm if they had ever had any spooky experiences there. They did not mention Neil's photo. Indeed, they admitted that the figure of a young boy, dressed in white night clothes, had been seen on several occasions around the barn.

Apparently, this is the ghost that Neil photographed.

The Brown Lady of Raynam Hall, England
(Sometimes refered to as the "Grey Lady" as well)

This picture was alledgedly taken in or around 1936 in the United Kingdom. The first reported sighting of this apparition, now refered to as "the Brown Lady",  was in 1836 when Colonel Loftus said that he saw her in a brown dress. He also stated that her eye sockets were empty. He later spent the night in the same room with Frederick  Marryat, hoping to get a look at the ghost. Marryat did eventually see the ghost but he saw her in a hallway upstairs. He described her the same way but claimed that he saw her carrying a lantern as well.

The Back Seat Driver Ghost

This image, one of the many but less common daylight ghost images, is believed to show the ghost of the mans mother inlaw sitting in the back seat. Allegedly, the mother in law had recently passed away but, that didn't keep her from taking a ride!  You can clearly see what appears to be the light from the camera flash reflecting off of what seems to be a pair of glasses on the face of someone in the back passenger seat .

The Baby Ghost

A woman named Mrs. Andrews was visiting the grave of her daughter in a cemetery in Queensland, Australia in approximately 1946 or 1947. Her daughter, Joyce, had died about a year earlier, in 1945, at the age of 17. Mrs. Andrews saw nothing unusual when she took this photo of Joyce's gravemarker.

When the film was developed, Mrs. Andrews was astonished to see the image of a small child sitting happily on the  grave of her daughter. The "ghost child" seems to be aware of Mrs. Andrews since he or she is looking directly into the camera.

Although this image has some of the tell-tale signs of being a double exposure, Mrs. Andrews was adamant that there were no such children in the area at the time the photograph was taken and taht she didn't recognize the child at all. She remarked that she did not believe it was her daughters ghost as a child.

Investigating this case, Australian paranormal researcher Tony Healy visited the cemetery in the late 1990s. He was able to locate the graves of two infant girls near Joyce's grave.

The Ghost Behind a Grandmother

This photo was taken by Denise Russell who claimed that the the lady in the photo was her Grandmother. Mrs. Russell adds "She lived on her own until age 94, when her mind started to weaken and had to be moved to an assisted living home for her own safety. At the end of the first week, there was a picnic for the residents and their families. My mother and sister attended. My sister took two pictures that day, and this is one of them. It was taken on Sunday, 8/17/97, and we think the man behind her is my grandpa who passed away on Sunday, 8/14/84.

We did not notice the man in the picture until Christmas Day, 2000 (granny had since passed away), while browsing through some loose family photos at my parents' house. My sister thought it was such a nice picture of granny that she even made a copy for mom, but still, nobody noticed the man behind her for over three years! When I arrived at my parents' house that Christmas day, my sister handed me the picture and said, "Who do you think this man behind granny looks like?" It took a few seconds for it to sink in. I was absolutely speechless".

Below are two images of what Mrs. Russells Grandfather looked like in life years before the above photo was taken.

Decebel Hotel Ghost

Authorities have warned people to stay away from the Decebal Hotel alledgedly because construction was taking place on the one hundred fifty year old building. What they didn't warn people about was the ghost. The spirit of a tall woman in a long white frock has long been reported at the spa. The hotel in Romania is rumored to hide ancient Roman treasure, and the ghost, it is said, appears to protect it from treasure hunters.

Only anecdotal evidence for this ghost existed until 2008 when thirty-three year old Victoria Iovan snapped this photograph, which indeed seems to show the ghostly image of a tall figure in long white garb. "I photographed my boyfriend in the hotel," said Iovan. "Back home I was shocked to see another woman's shadow in the picture. She looked like a priestess in long white clothes."

Amittyville Horror Haunting Photo

By now, most of us are aware that the Amityville Horror, the common name for the supposed paranomal events that took place in 1977. Supposedly, on November 13th, 1974 at a New York state residence an individual killed his parents and four siblings and this event led to the alledged paranormal activity that was the basis for the subsequent book and movie deal.

Although it has long been considered "debunked", this photo still surfaces from time to time as possible evidence that there may actually be more to the story that we have all been told. I can't say for sure that there is a haunting at the location or not as I have never even been to the location on "112 Ocean Avenue, in Amityville New York" but, since it's a story that doesn't seem to want to "give up the ghost", I thought that it should still be presented here.

The picture above proportedly shows an apparition of the youngest son of the DeFoe family and was alledged to have been snapped during a walk-through by famed paranormal investigators "Ed and Lorraine Warren" during an investigation. It's claimed that there were no children present at the time and that the image was only noticed after the investigation.

Below is an image taken from the internet that claims to be a portait of the two brothers, Marc and John DeFoe.
The best I can offer is to show you these two and let YOU be the judge.

Both of these images, as well as other information regarding the case, can be found at:

 Dutch Civil War Soldier

Alledged photo of a soldier in period dress that was taken by a group of joggers while on a jogging trail in Holland. The claim is that the figure in the image resembles the appearal of a Dutch soldier from the 1600's.

Ghost of Henry the 8th

This is a still from a security camera video that proportedly shows the apparition of what is claimed to be King Henry the Eighth.

Ghost in the Window?

The image was snapped by members of the Texas Spirit Seekers paranormal research group at Waxahachie's famed Catfish Plantation restaurant. It seems to show a disembodied face through a window in one of the dining rooms.

Here is a close of the area of the image in question:
A member of the Texas Spirit Seekers Paranormal Research Groups, Ryan Rodriguez,  stated: "We tried to disprove it by saying that it may have been a reflection of one of the team members, but it looks absolutely nothing like any of them," says Mr. Rodriguez, a former restaurant manager. "And all you see is the face, no body or shoulders. They were pretty freaked out by it!"
Green Castle Ghosts
(The Ghost of Irene O'Hare?)

These pictures were taken in Greencastle Indiana by paranormal investigators who were investigating an abandoned mansion on the outskirts of town. While one investigator entered the house, the other stayed outside to take pictures of the exterior of the ruined building.

investigator on the inside became panicked by a feeling that he wasn't alone and began hearing what he described as a heartbeat next to his ear. The investigator quickly left the house and he and his colleague, spooked by the entire encounter, fled the area.

When the film was developed, three consecutive pictures showed a wispy figure bathed in a pink light in one of the windows while another picture showed the same figure at the backdoor.

When the pictures were analyzed by an expert, it was confirmed that the figure was on the negative and not the result of an anomaly or camera malfunction. Chillingly, when the photo was scanned and processed with a computer, the unmistakable form of a skull can be seen on the ghost's head.

Although the investigators returned to the mansion again, the "Pink Ghost" was never photographed again however, in one shot they did manage to capture what looks like a ghost woman in a flowing gown bathed in gold light

The bad news is that no further investigation of this location will be possible as the mansion has since been torn down to make way for a cornfield. It seems that the porperty owners couldn't justify the insurance risk posed by Legend Trippers who insisted on tresspassing on the private proprty.

The Child Passenger

When this picture was taken in 1983, the man was reportedly sitting his the pickup truck by himself.  If this is true, why does there appear to be a child sitting in the back seat?

If you look closely, you can see what appears to be a small child in the back seat with his arms raised above his head. I have not been able to find out any other details on this image of of yet.

Haunted Rail Road Crossing

A strange legend surrounds a railroad crossing just south of San Antonio, Texas. The intersection of roadway and railroad track, so the story goes, was the site of a tragic accident in which several school-aged children were killed - but their ghosts linger at the spot and will push idled cars across the tracks, even though the path is uphill.

The story may be just the stuff of urban legend, but the accounts were intriguing enough that I wrote an article about the phenomenon, "The Haunted Railroad Crossing." The article included a photograph submitted by Andy and Debi Chesney. Their daughter and some of her friends had recently been to the crossing to test the legend, and she took some photographs. Inexplicably, a strange, transparent figure turned up in one of the photos. "They had no idea that it was in the picture until the next day when I printed out the picture and showed them," said the Chesneys. "It was really freaky. It appears to be a little girl carrying a teddy bear."

Some who've viewed the photo believe it may actually show a little girl with a dog sitting at her feet. What do you think?  Incredibly, a pair of ghost hunters returned to this very site and took more pictures and seemed to have gotten the exact same ghost on film!
