ORANGE COUNTY JUVENILE JUSTICE COMPLEX

Juvenile Hall is a high-security facility for juvenile offenders.
Juvenile Hall houses boys and girls, generally between ages 12
and 18, who are detained pending Juvenile Court hearings or
who remain in custody by order of the court.

Youth Guidance Center is a minimum security facility housing
boys and girls ages 11 to 18 years. YGC offers several unique
programs that focus on the wide range of juvenile offenders
needs. The primary goal for each of these programs is to
develop minors emotionally, behaviorally, and academically,
and to prepare minors for transition to the community.

Youth Leadership Academy serves low-risk minimum-security
population of boys ages 14 to 18 years.  The comprehensive
residential program will enhance competencies through remedial
education, rehabilitative treatment programs, substance abuse programs,
mental health services, and community outreach opportunities.

Joplin Youth Center provides residential treatment for boys,
ages 13 to 17. It is located in a rustic setting, in the midst
of oak groves in the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains.
