The National Weather Service will conduct a Basic Storm Spotter Class
on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at the Lafayette County Central Fire
Station.  The class will be from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

September 23, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. Basic Storm Spotter Class taught by
NWS at Panola County EMA.

October 14, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. Advanced Storm Spotter Class taught by
NWS at Panola County EMA.

ARRL Day In The Park, hosted by UMARC on the Ole Miss Campus, October 16, starting at 0800.


 
 

Recent Updates:

Panola Emergency Amateur Radio Club will host it's first ARRL FIeld Day this year on June 25, 2011.  The location will next to Lowes in Batesville near Hwy 6 and ! 55.  We will start around 9:00 a.m. and will conclude our activities around 3:00 p.m. but may stay longer depending on participation.  We will also be hosting VE testing for those that are interested in getting their amateur radio license or upgrade their existing license.  Please come by and check us out, maybe your not interested in getting a license but would like to know how we can operate and provide emergency communications in the event of an disaster. Look forward to seeing you there.
