COURSE OUTLINE
 

EAT A HEAVY BREAKFAST AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE A COPY OF THE SKETCH OR HOW TO GET HERE SO YOU WILL HAVE AN EASY TIME FINDING THE LOCATION. IF POSSIBLE, YOU MAY PACK UP YOUR LUNCH ALTHOUGH YOU CAN ORDER FROM MOST FASTFOOD CHAINS IN THE AREA.

PLEASE BRING AN APRON, HAIRNET AND SPARE SHIRT.

BRING A PLASTIC CONTAINER FOR YOUR SAMPLES.

COOKIES AND OTHER PASTRIES ARE NOT GOOD CANDIDATES FOR PLASTIC (SANDO BAGS) TRANSPORT. YOU NEED TO BRING A CONTAINER TO AVOID CRUSHING YOUR PASTRIES, AT LEAST 3 INCHES TALL ESPECIALLY FOR CUPCAKES AND CAKES THAT WILL HAVE ICING ON THEM. PRESERVE YOUR DECORATED CUPCAKES SO PLEASE, DO NOT FORGET YOUR CONTAINERS.

BRING THE FOLLOWING DECORATING TOOLS.

FOR PASTRY 2 CLASS;

ROUND TIP, STAR OR ROSETTES,  AND LEAF. ANY NUMBER WILL DO, YOU WILL BE MAKING BASIC DECORATIONS ONLY SO DO NOT BOTHER TO GET ALL THE NUMBERS. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THESE 3 MAIN DECORATING TIPS, WHATEVER YOU HAVE AT HOME WILL DO.

PASTRY BAG, AT LEAST 12-16 '' OR WHATEVER SIZE YOU HAVE AT HOME.

ICING COMB

THESE ARE THE ITEMS TO BRING

 

YOU MAY TAKE PICTURES OF THE PASTRIES, BUT NO VIDEO WILL BE ALLOWED.

ASSORTED ICING NOZZLES OR TIPS

 

YOU WILL CREATE BASIC DECORATING DESIGNS ON CUPCAKES ON THE SECOND DAY USING COOKED BUTTERCREAM ICING.

DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR ICING TUBES OR TIPS, MEDIUM-SIZED NUMBER IS BETTER.
