Compatibility
- Compatible with any Minecraft Forge mod EXCEPT Simple HarvestCraft!  Do not combine HarvestCraft and Simple HarvestCraft.

Block ID's - 165, 166, 189-191, 215-216- Change with the /config/mod_Pamfood.cfg file!  NOW ONLY USES 5 BLOCK IDs AS OF VERSION 5.0!

Item ID's - 5001- 5189, 5300 - 5400, 5420 - 5444, 5900-6100

This mod adds in Salt, a new world generating ore (will not appear in pre-explored chunks in old worlds), sixteen new crops, eight new fruit trees, four berry bushes, and a ton of new ingredients and food items. If you love farming and cooking, this mod is definitely for you!

You can change spawn rates of salt, trees, and bushes in the config file.

New Items Added
Version 5.3.8.1 adds in a new config line in the .cfg file (ediblefruitveggieHeal).  This amount (set between 0 and 20) is how much edible fruits and veggies (plums, carrots, etc) will heal when eaten.  0 = no healing, 1 = 1/2 food, 2 = one full food point, etc.  The game will now assume fruits/veggies heal 1/2 a food point from now on unless changed in the config.

Version 5.3.7 adds in the quern!  Use this block to mill and grind items.  Please see the section below and note that many recipes have changed to use the new items instead of old items.

Version 5.3.6 adds in beeswax (drops from beehives 50/50 with honey now), pressed wax (made with four beeswax or four candleberries), woven cloth, cloth armor, hardened leather, and hardened leather armor (see ClothCraft and WaxCraft sections for details right now).  Also adds in the ability to smelt rotten flesh into leather.   You can also make four torches by putting a string above a pressed wax.

As of 5.3.5, you can now find two new fruit trees in normal climates (Avacado*, Nutmeg), five new fruit trees in warm climates (Pomegranate*, Vanilla Bean, Peppercorn, Papaya*, Starfruit*), two new bushes (in both climates -- Cotton and Candleberry).  None of the new items have recipes yet, except Nutmeg, Vanilla Bean, and Peppercorn can be smelted.  Only Black Pepper is use-able and replaces Peppercorn in ALL food recipes.  Two cotton can be placed diagonal in order to receive one string.  *These fruits are edible.  Also fixes the issue of some bushes/trees not spawning with bonemeal on grass and some various other bug fixes.  The cotton and candleberries from this mod are not compatible with ClothCraft or WaxCraft at this time (as I'm moving CC and WC into this mod).

Optional Download (see Animal Follow/Breed download above) - Allows you to use lettuce, carrots, corn, peanuts, cucumbers, beets, broccoli, sweet potatoes, and peas to have animals follow you and breed.  This must go in the Minecraft JAR and may break compatibility with other animal mods (although Mo'Creatures seems to work just fine).

Optional Download 2 (see More Fish! download above) - Adds many new fish and items to the fishing 'catch' table.  All fish/food items can be cooked while other items that are found have surprise uses.  Good luck fishing!

As of 5.3.3 fruit bushes and trees will spawn in appropriate biomes.  This will only affect chunks you haven't explored or newly created worlds.  Biomes are split between normal and warm.  No bushes/trees spawn in cold biomes.

Added White Mushrooms and Harvest Wheat to seed drops and crops.  White Mushrooms can replace red or brown mushrooms in any recipe and Harvest Wheat can substitute for normal wheat (except for old bread recipe) in any wheat recipe.

In 5.3 you now create butter using a butter churn.  The old recipe is gone!

Note: As of 5.2.4 fruit trees no longer drop saplings but you can craft all saplings with the 'fruit' drop (apples, honey, cinnamon, etc) and a single generic tree sapling.

Also, all fruit based recipes should now work.  Also, delete and replace with TMI all of your old 'fruits' that had a metadata value in TMI.  If the item is named Item XXXX: X, it's wrong and will not work with recipes.  Fruit that drops as of 5.2.4 has been fixed.

NOTE:  As of 5.2, all bottle'd items are now made with Notch's vanilla bottles instead.  All previous Pam bottles are now obsolete and cannot be made anymore.  Just delete them.

RECIPE GUIDE  This is here because people keep asking where the recipes are.  They're right here.

Salt - This is a new ore, which needs at least a wooden pickaxe to mine. It will drop four salt items that can be used in cooking. Since it breaks like redstone, you cannot obtain salt ore blocks without an inventory editor. Salt can be found near the surface like Coal.

Butter Churn - Crafted with planks and a stick, this block allows you to create butter from barrels of milk.  Place a barrel next to a bucket of milk in a crafting grid to get a barrel of milk.  Barrels of milk can currently only be used to make butter.  Place the bucket(s) of milk in the top slot and salt item(s) in the bottom slot to churn butter and buttermilk.  One barrel and one salt will make one butter and buttermilk.  NOTE: Place a fence post (as shown below) above the butter churn to make it look authentic).

WARNING:  Placing more than one barrel of milk in the churn will result in you getting a single empty bucket back in the input slot of the churn, DELETING any other milk barrels that were there.  Only place ONE milk barrel into the churn at a time.

Quern - Crafted with smoothstone and a stick (same recipe shape as the churn), this block allows you to grind items.  Place the item to be ground on top and a smoothstone on the bottom.  One smoothstone makes 8 items but remember the Quern takes twice as long to grind one item as the furnace.  NOTE:  Due to this addition, many recipes have changed.  (All recipes now use Table Salt instead of Salt for example).  Make sure to check the recipe guide for more info.

 Item     Result
 Wheat Flour
 Harvest Wheat Flour
 Rice     Flour
 Peppercorn Black Pepper
 Nutmeg Nutmeg Spice
 Cocoa Beans Cocoa Powder
 Sugar Powdered Sugar
 Salt Table Salt x2
 Corn Cornmeal
 Cinnamon Cinnamon Spice
 Coffee Bean Ground Coffee

Crops - Beans, Beets, Bellpeppers, Broccoli*, Carrots*, Coffee, Corn, Cucumbers*, Eggplants, Ginger, Lettuce*, Peanuts*, Peppercorns, Potatoes, Onions, Peas, Pineapples*, Mustard, Rice, Sweet Potatoes, Tea, Tomatoes*, Turnips, Ginger, Mustard, Garlic, White Mushrooms, and Harvest Wheat. To find seeds for the new crops, break tall grass as if you were looking for wheat seeds. I've tried to color code them all!   All crops now drop 2-4 items and all crop drops can be turned into seeds on a 1 to 1 basis (harvest wheat seed recipe is two harvest wheat for two seeds).
* Crops marked with an asterisk can be eaten raw for 2 food.

Trees - Apples, Bananas, Cherrys, Cinnamon, Cocoa Bean Pods, Coconuts, Lemons, Limes, Olives (no use yet), Oranges, Mangos, Peaches, Pears, Plums, Walnuts, and Honey Beehives!

Wild Berry Bushes - Blueberry*, Blackberry*, Raspberry*, Kiwi Fruit*, Strawberry*, Grape*, and Sunflower!

As of version 5.0 use normal bonemeal to grow crops!  As of version 5.2.1 you can now use bonemeal to grow fruit trees as well (courtesy of Nirek)!

You can now use bonemeal to sometimes spawn berry bushes and fruit tree saplings along with tallgrass and flowers.

Seed Packets/Seed Boxes - In a square, combine eight like seeds to make a packet. Combine eight packets in a square to get a box. These all stack to 64, allowing you to store a ton of seeds. You can unconvert them by putting them into the craft grid (box into eight packets, a packet into eight seeds). You cannot use these for planting.

Changed Recipes - Bread is now made by creating Flour (Wheat = Flour directly on a Crafting Table) and then combining Flour, Water Bucket, and Salt to create Dough. Dough is then smelted in the furnace to create Bread.

New Recipes - Picture Recipes Part 1, Picture Recipes Part 2, Picture Recipes Part 3 All pics are outdated for 1.8.1

If you want only text recipes please refer to this GoogleDoc (look under the Food tab) for all the recipes and how many hearts food restore in this mod. Items marked in dark blue are already in Minecraft, light blue are new recipes from my mod (please note that some foods are smelted in the furnace, not crafted at a Crafting Table), and grey items are not yet implemented. Most recipes are shapeless, however if a recipe is shaped, it will give instructions in the Ingredient line.
