This is the Official Website of the
Class of 1964, Perth Amboy High School - Perth Amboy, NJ
Last revision: Thursday, October 27, 2016. Hmmm, sorry to say but our host (where our data resides) of this website - a long story involving the company I used to work for -
has crashed and much of our Memory Lane data & archives has been "lost." I have back-ups but I don't know if Ben will be able to recover or if it's worth the effort to recreate
a decade of work. The obvious thing is that if anyone wants a mirror image of our archived data, let me know and I can burn a copy for you. Meanwhile, we're trying to recover,
but I can't claim the odds of full recovery are very hopeful. Meanwhile, our homepage and info is hosted elsewhere and still works . . . I hope.
Wednesday, November 23: Updated update. Oy, nothing good. Our host was one of the ISP servers hit back in October by the massive DNS attack on many US servers. In an attempt recover
his backup, Ben's server also crashed, thus creating the fascinating problem of PacRim (me/us) being unable to get on our server (PacRim) until Ben's server (???) is also up again. Assuming that Ben
gets back up on the air, PacRim will take priority over us since we (me/PAHS) are merely a subdirectory on the PacRim site - which only exists on Ben's server. And since PacRim has to recreate
their entire file directory system and then will have something like 300 GB of data to upload - it may be a while before our sub-directory (PacRim) is recreated and I can upload our 13 GB of data, first to PacRim
and then from PacRim to Ben. The good news is that I still have all of our data files and am in generally good health . . . but between grandchildren and a couple of Norfolk Terriers, there aren't a lot
of free hours in my days. Maybe I can ask the new incoming administration for a grant - assuming I can prove my citizenship - and provide proof that Slovakia is not a Muslim nation with no walls required.
2014 - Our 50th Reunion
Our 50th Reunion took place at Embassy Suites Hotel in Piscataway, NJ
on the weekend of Thursday thru Sunday, July 10 - 13, 2014
(The photo highlights of that weekend are on the Memory Lane page)
We've held full-blown Reunions every 5 years (almost) for decades - our 50th being the most recent -
and I can assure you that the 55th is already being thought about and discussed. See you in 2019!
Plus! In recent years, we've held numerous more casual annual "summer get-togethers. "
Those are usually in mid-July and are short notice "by announcement" as opposed to being
scheduled events. Small local events are likely to become more numerous in coming years.
The 2016 summer get-together was held July 16 at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick.
A typical scene - although a slightly odd composite shot - in the lounge 2016. We've also taken over the dining room way in the back, on right
You can also join us on Facebook !
We also have a PAHS-64 Group Page on Facebook which many of us have joined and that's where most of current activities
and running commentary is posted. Most of you are familiar with Facebook by now - but if not, ask your kids.
Of course, you do have to be a member of Facebook to join the PAHS Group and that might be an interesting experience
for some of you who aren't used to that sort of thing. If you are already a Facebook member, be sure to search for:
Perth Amboy High School 1964
Our Group page is a closed, private site and membership is limited to PAHS-1964 or very close PAHS alum.
To become a member of the PAHS 64 group, you must already be a member of Facebook.
Simply login, do a search for our group name, and then "request to join" the group.
If you're new to Facebook, or have questions, please feel free to contact us and we'll try to help you out.
We're using our website email address for our communications with folks who have email,
and every now and then, we'll send a routine email to help keep us informed and in touch.
Emails from us will be from the following address:
If you haven't received any email from us in a while (we send routine notifications several times a year),
please let us know and send us your preferred email address.
Elsewhere on the website, we have links to "slide shows" of many of our earlier reunions and
activities, so be sure to visit "Memory Lane." We are now looking for additional images and ask
you for your help. If you have any photographs from Grammar or Shull School, high school,
previous reunions, or other class related events that you'd be willing to share, please contact us.
We'll be happy to make copies and return your images, create a show and upload it.
Please remember that while "Reunion" is in our website name, this is our official full-time class website.
The site will always be here (we hope) --- not just for Reunions, but also everything in-between.
We hope you will enjoy it and will use it to help all of us keep in touch with each other.
And, in case you haven't heard from us in a while, or if any of your contact information has changed
-or if you've just found us after all these years and we've never heard from you before,
then please contact us at:
The email address above is not a live link (sorry, spam issues), you'll have to type it in, but it'll get through to us.
Please include your PAHS First & Last Name in the Subject Line to get past our spam filters.
We'll promise to get back to you personally within a day or so.
Please feel free to pass along the website link to our fellow classmates:
