Treasure Mountain Trail

"Treasure Mountain Trail" is ride #13 originally published in the book “PAGOSA RIDES; Mountain Biking in and around Pagosa Springs” by Gary Hopkins.

The Treasure Mountain Trail is one of the best, and most scenic, rides in southwest Colorado. The singletrack portion begins on the east flank of Treasure Mountain and descends for 7 miles, dropping 3000’ to the road in East Fork Valley. The trail is technical and narrow in places, rolling and smooth in others. Spectacular views across the Valley to the Continental Divide accompany the rider on the way down. This is a memorable ride for both advanced and confident intermediate mountain bikers.
