Christmas on the Farm: December 14, 2013

Due to the impending poor weather, Christmas on the Farm, scheduled for 12/14 is cancelled. 

Our first priority is ensure the safety of our volunteers, demonstrators, vendors and visitors. Thank you for your interest and check back for the latest updates and events at the PGCHC. 

Christmas on the Farm
Saturday, December 14, 2013 - 10 a.m. -4 p.m.
At this time, we plan to proceed with the event rain, snow or shine!

Enjoy a Pennsylvania Dutch Christmas on the Farm! 

New this year, purchase your Christmas tree here at Christmas on the Farm! Perseverance Farm will be onsite selling freshly cut trees and boughs. Tree prices will range from about $25-$35. If you're looking to purchase a great Christmas tree before December 14, you can visit Perseverance Farm, conveniently located on Hardt Hill Road in Bechtelsville. Christmas on the Farm will feature visits from the Belsnickel, a petting zoo, music, food, children’s activities and crafts, arts & crafts vendors, wagon rides, The Old Time Plow Boys Club, The Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen and much more! 

This event is the perfect place to shop for interesting and novel holiday gifts. Plus, see hearth-cooking, brewing, log hewing, and blacksmith demonstrations. 

The historic buildings will also be decorated for the holidays. The Christmas Tree in the Sharadin Farmhouse Parlor was generously donated by BeckTree Farms in Hamburg.
