New USA Swimming Official Position introduced

posted Aug 20, 2013, 7:20 PM by Pacific Swimming Zone2   [ updated Aug 20, 2013, 7:58 PM ]

A new USA-S official position - Administrative Official has been introduced.  The responsibilities and requirements for this official are somewhat different than those of the Administrative Referee.   (This position does not follow the normal developmental progression for officials that goes from Stroke and Turn to Chief Judge, Starter, Referee etc.)  It has been created for parent volunteers who are interested in getting involved with only the "dry" side of swim meets and who do not wish to get involved in the "wet" side of swim meets (judging the swims, starting the races, etc.)

For more detailed information the Administrative Official position please see the Administrative Official description and Administrative Official Clinic Guideline below or in the Officials section.
