Abstract submission

Abstract submission is a two stage process:

1. Please complete the abstract registration form.  

        a. Please note the abstract registration form requires your abstract title.

2. Format your abstract as per the guidelines below and then email your abstract  to paclim00@gmail.com

ABSTRACT NAMING AND FORMATTING GUIDELINES

A) Please name your file by the first author’s last name, an underscore, first name initial, an underscore and PACLIM2023.  e.g. Starratt_S_PACLIM2023.doc

B) The text formatting for the abstract should be as follows:

• The title and authors should be written in Arial 12 regular font

Title

Name Surname a, Name Surname b, … & Name Surname c 

• The Institutions should be in italics and in Arial 11 font

a Institution, Postal address of the institution, e-mail,

b Institution, Postal address of the institution, e-mail,

etc.

• The abstract should be written in Arial 11, regular font.

A concise and factual abstract is required (~300 words). The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. An abstract is often presented separately from the article, so it must be able to stand alone. For this reason, References should be avoided, but if essential, then cite the author(s) and year(s). Also, non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if essential they must be defined at their first mention in the abstract itself.
