Steak Layered Dinner

  • Steak (I used 1.5lb sirloin)
  • Potatoes, however many your crock will fit
  • Corn on the cob, see above
  • Steak seasoning
  • Salt & pepper
  • ½ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup Italian dressing
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • Minced garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Frozen grilled shrimp (like Gorton’s variety) optional

  1. Clean potatoes, place in tinfoil and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt, set aside.
  2. Clean corn, place in tinfoil and rub with butter and season with salt and pepper to taste, set aside
  3. Prepare steak marinade, mix together the following in a bowl:
    1. ½ cup Worcestershire
    2. 1 cup Italian dressing
    3. 1 cup BBQ Sauce
    4. Minced Garlic to taste
  4. Add seasonings to top and bottom of steak
  5. Use salt, pepper, steak seasoning of choice (Montreal is good)
  6. Add steak to bottom of crockpot
  7. Pour marinade over steak
  8. Add potatoes and corn on top of steak
  9. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 5-6 hours.
  10. Optional: To add shrimp, wait until 2 hours of cook time remain, wrap frozen shrimp in tinfoil and place on top of potatoes and corn. Switch crockpot to High.
