With school starting again, it's time for Cub Scouts!

Our first Pack meeting will be held on Wednesday, Sep 17 at 7PM at McKitrick Elementary.  Note: due to a schedule conflict at the school, this is the third Wednesday rather than the second.

We will also be holding a Round Up for boy's and their parents interested in joining the pack on Wednesday, Sep 3, at 7PM.  If you have friends who are interested in joining Cub Scouts, this is a good time to come for information and to get any questions answered.

See you all on the 17th!

Children's Gasparilla Parade

posted Jan 13, 2014, 5:55 PM by Pack9   [ updated Jan 13, 2014, 6:07 PM ]

This year's Children's Gasparilla Parade is Saturday, Jan 18, from 3:30 - 6:00.  Pack 9 will be participating along with boys from Packs 90 and 38.   We're number 74 in the line up this year.  That puts us between Lawn and Fair Oaks on Bayshore Boulevard.

Scouts participating should be in full class A uniform.  (blues for Cubs, blues or khaki/olive Webelos)  Please meet at the float no later than 2:30.  Earlier is probably better as there will be *lots* of traffic.  There is a shuttle service from the Fort Brook parking garage, downtown.  Cost is $5 per adult.  Accompanied children are free.

We'll get as many scouts as we can on the float.  Parents and siblings are welcome to walk with us. Those with small children may want to bring a wagon or jogging stroller for them to ride in.   We'll need four parents to act as safety monitors and walk at the corners of the float.

The PDF below contains a map, schedule, and general rules and other info.
