This year's Children's Gasparilla Parade is Saturday, Jan 18, from 3:30 - 6:00. Pack 9 will be participating along with boys from Packs 90 and 38. We're number 74 in the line up this year. That puts us between Lawn and Fair Oaks on Bayshore Boulevard. We'll get as many scouts as we can on the float. Parents and siblings are welcome to walk with us. Those with small children may want to bring a wagon or jogging stroller for them to ride in. We'll need four parents to act as safety monitors and walk at the corners of the float.
Scouts participating should be in full class A uniform. (blues for Cubs, blues or khaki/olive Webelos) Please meet at the float no later than 2:30. Earlier is probably better as there will be *lots* of traffic. There is a shuttle service from the Fort Brook parking garage, downtown. Cost is $5 per adult. Accompanied children are free.
