Pack Meeting: September 25, 2018 at 7:00 PM, Location - South Middle School Cafeteria

The monthly pack meeting brings together boys from every den, their leaders, and their families, to 
participate in a large-scale event that serves as a showcase for everything the boys have learned and done in their individual den meetings. The pack meeting gives the boys a larger experience beyond their own den, and helps them to connect their individual activities to the entire Cub Scouting program.
Our meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 PM.  Make sure your scout looks his best.

2018 Mom and Me: September 28-30, 2018, Location - Camp Warren Levis (Godfrey, Illinois)

Get your robes out, dust your wands off, and get ready for the Wizarding World of Warren Levis, Mom & Me 2018!  This is event is for you, mom, and your Scout(s), and this is what your Scouts signed up for: camping, archery, camp fire shows, crafts, games and more, out at our beautiful Camp Warren Levis.

Who: Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and Mom (or other female adult partner)
What: 3 days and 2 nights of Family Camp
When:  Friday 09-28-2018 5:00 PM to Sunday 09-30-2018 11:00 AM
Where: Camp Warren Levis

Fees:

·         $100 per pair (Scout & Parent) if paid prior to September 1

·         $40 per additional camper if paid prior to September 1

·         $120 per pair (Scout & Parent) if paid after September 1

·         $45 per additional camper if paid after September 1

Please note, children other than registered Cub Scouts cannot attend this camp.

GSLAC Cub Launch: September 29, 2018 at 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Location - Beaumont Scout Ranch or Wentzville United Methodist Church (Wentzville, MO 63385)

Cub Launch is a one day event where a Cub Scout will get to experience all things Cub Scouting:

  • Fishing (a portable pond with real fish will be at Beaumont this year, by Cabela’s!)
  • BB guns
  • Slingshots
  • Archery
  • Bounce Houses (at select locations)
  • STEM experiments
  • Community guest presenters
    • At Beaumont: Botanical Gardens, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Eureka Fire Department, Missouri Conservationists and more!
  • PLUS, earn the Bobcat requirement! (The first advancement a Cub Scout can get.)

Cub Scout STEM Day Fall 2018: October 6, 2018 at 9:00 - 11:30 AM, Location - LU Belleville
Cub Scout STEM Day Fall 2018: October 20, 2018 at 9:00 - 11:30 AM, Location - Fabick CAT

Who: Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos

When: Saturday, October 6, 2018 (Belleville Lindenwood) and  Saturday October 20, 2018 (Fabick CAT)

What:  With the help of Mad Science staff and the facilities of Fabick CAT & Belleville Lindenwood University, the program will be focused on earning specific STEM-based Adventure Belt Loops/Pins within Cub Scout advancement program.  

Tigers will earn the Sky Is the Limit loop, Wolves will earn the Motor Away loop, Bears will earn the Super Science loop, and Webelos will earn the Adventures in Science loop. This event also helps Wolves, Bears, & Webelos get started on earning their STEM NOVA awards. Scouts will complete requirements 2 & 5 of either the Down & Dirty NOVA, Out of This World NOVA, Swing NOVA, or Talk Tech NOVA.  

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (Sign-ins begin at 8:00 am, no sooner)

Lindenwood University of Belleville, IL (2600 West Main Street, Belleville, IL 62226) Old Main Hall*
Fabick CAT (1 Fabick Dr., Fenton, MO 63026) 

*Old Main Hall at Lindenwood does not have an elevator, and the rooms are about a half-flight of stairs up. If you need a wheelchair lift, please notify us in your registration.

Cost:  $16.00 per Scout. This includes take home items and advancement cards for earning adventure belt loops.   

Payment:  Mastercard, VISA, and Discover.  Payments and registration will only be accepted online. Registrations and cancellations will be accepted no later than Monday, October 15, 2017. Substitutions from the Pack will be allowed. 

Parking: Parking at Fabick is right out front. For Lindenwood, please park in the lot just across the street from Old Main Hall. Visitor or Temporary parking is for drop-offs only. 

**Please note, this program is the same as Fall 2016's program; if you attended last year as a Webelos I, you'll be in the same class as a Webelos II.**

NO late registrations or walk-ins will be accepted.  Cub Scout participants will be capped at 20 per class. First come, first served.  Scouts must be in the care of a responsible adult during the event.  Please bring portable chairs. The facility will only have enough chairs for the Scouts.

2018 Cub Day at the Science Center: October 6, 2018 at 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Location - Science Center

October 6, 2018: 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. | Registration begins at 9:15 a.m.

This annual event is organized by the Lutheran Association on Scouting. The Science Center staff will put on workshops and there will be a devotional over lunch. Cost of admission includes a ticket to the Omnimax Theater. Cost: $20 Per Scout & $10 Adult/Sibling

2018 Fall Fright Fest:  October 13, 2018 at 2:00 - 8:00 PM, Location - Cub World at Beaumont Scout Reservation




A fun, age-appropriate, but scary activity to add to the Halloween Spirit! Costume's are welcomed but not a requirement. Wear trail appropriate footwear you will be going through a wooded trail.

For a more timid experience, packs should consider a time during daylight hours. Time slots are located on your right hand side for quick reference, click on the Registration button in the middle of the page to create your units registration.

Carpooling is encouraged, Sorry, no walk-ins accepted. Expect to spend 2 hours to finish your Fright Fest experience.

Groups will begin every 15 minutes.

Each den (boys of the same age and rank) will have a meeting on the third Tuesday of the month.  Dens will cover requirements for rank advancement and electives. Tigers and Lions attend their den meetings with their adult partners; but Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Scouts can attend den meetings on their own.

While the meetings include games and other activities that are fun for the boys, program delivery is the main goal. Boys participate in activities and work on projects that are related to an adventure and that help them learn the skills they need to progress in rank. The boys also prepare to do their part in the monthly pack meeting.

2018 Haunted Hayride:  starts October 19, many dates available, Location - Camp Warren Levis (Godfrey, Illinois)

A spooky fun evening for the whole unit, group, or family!

What is it?  Haunted Hayrides is a spooky good time for children and adults of all ages!  The ride lasts about 30 minutes, showing the spookier, scarier side of Camp Warren Levis.  Tractors leave on rides about every 10-15 minutes.  Keep an eye out for the goblins and ghouls, and be careful about that noise in the woods...

Event Cost: $6 per person for the ride

Who can attend?  Everyone is welcome!

Camp souvenirs and concessions will be available for purchase every evening. 

Walk-ins are very welcome at this event, but registration on-site is cash only.

Radical Robotics Fall 2018: October 27, 2018 at 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Location - De Smet Jesuit HS


Bring all youth-- boys and girls, siblings and friends -- to a morning of fast-paced, engaging technology and engineering. Scouts will learn basic robotics by building and testing their own T4 Transforming Solar Robot that they get to take home! ! Recommended ages 8-13, but all are welcome.

Time: 9 am - noon

Participation fee: $38 per youth which includes a robot that each Scout will complete and take home, plus additional materials!  (Robot kit is the T4 Transforming Solar Robot!)

At least 1 adult who knows your Scouts should attend, but they do not need to register. Please bring camp chairs. We will be limited on chairs at this event and appreciate the adults bringing their own.  

SPACE IS LIMITED & REGISTRATION CLOSES ON OCTOBER 21. Early-bird price ends OCTOBER 13, and jumps $2 afterwards.  
Unfortunately we cannot accept late registrations or day of event walk-ins.

Brickyard Derby: November 3, 2018, Location - South Middle School Gym

Join us for a family event filled with mini block building and racing.  $5 per entry.

8:00 AM - Doors open and kits available for sale.  You'll have 90 minutes to build your car.  Bring what you need to build your car, the pack will also make some bricks available for use.
9:30 AM - Car impound begins.  All cars that will race must be registered and certified ready for racing.  As soon as all cars are in we'll begin racing

Each racer is guaranteed at least 3 rounds of racing against other scouts
