Cub Scout Summer Camp 2015

The best that Cub Scouting has to offer, close to home! Cub Scout Day Camp combines the most exciting things about being a Scout with summertime fun. Practice your aim at the Archery or BB Shooting ranges, create a masterpiece in Arts and Crafts, or learn a new knot in Scoutcraft. Build campfires, study local animals or test your skill on the sports field. On Friday, invite the family to join us for our weekly closing festivities.   Dates in July.

April STEM Camp

Day Camp Logistics   

Date: April 21st – 25th  
Time: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm every day with a late pick up options for an additional charge $50 for the week.
Cost: $275

Scouts may bring their own food or may choose to purchase bag lunches for the week for $25.

STEM Camp Program

Cub Scouts will sign up for one of four different programs where they will work on belt loops and their NOVA Awards (Webelos will be in their own den). Each program will be focused on a different science topic throughout the week. Your Scout can work on the following belt loops depending on the program you sign him up for.

Program 1 – Science           Wildlife Conservation, Geology & Science

Program 2 – Technology      Photography, Mathematics & Computers

Program 3 – Engineering     Golf, Badminton & Fishing

Program 4 – Mathematics     Mathematics, Astronomy & Bowling

Program 5 – Webelos          Scientist & Geologist Activity Badge

2015 February Vacation Week- Winter Camp

  2. Where: Camp Sayre, Milton, MA   
  3. When: February 16th – 20th, 8:30am-4pm, with late pickup options


Cub Scouts will get to choose to participate in one of the two different programs listed below. Each program group will work on belt loops and other traditional Scouting activities. Each group will be broken into smaller Dens based on the age of the Scouts registered. Your Scout can work on the following belt loops depending on the program he signs up for.   

Program One Belt Loops – Hockey, Snow Ski & Board Sports, Swimming and Table Tennis  
Program Two Belt Loops – Flag Football, Ice Skating, Swimming and Table Tennis

Scouting New Year's Eve !!!

Bring in the New Year with a Night Full of Scouting Fun!!

This year, Camp Sayre will be hosting a Scouting New Years Eve party for scouts and siblings between the ages of 7 and 12. The night will start with a pizza and pool party at 7pm. Scouts and their siblings can spend the whole night celebrating the new year with dancing, movies, arts & crafts, and other fun activities. Program will run all night long for your scouts!


Cost: $65

Included: Dinner, night full of activities and breakfast 

 Drop Off: 6- 7pm 12/31/13   Pick Up: 9am 1/1/2014

 For the first time, Camp Sayre will be offering day long programs for our Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts during December school vacation. Sign your scout up for one day or all three days!


Each day scouts will be working on a different merit badge or activity belt loop and pin. In addition to Scouts working on specific creative arts advancement, they will also participate in classic Scout activities like swimming in our indoor pool and hiking in the Blue Hills.
