Returning scouts need to recharter with the national scouts and pay a $24 annual fee.  Please bring cash or a check made out to Pack 433 to the Pack meeting on 11/17. Or pay with a credit card on the link below.

Scouts will perform various miscellaneous scouting related tasks to earn pennies. Then small prizes will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

5/5-5/7 Spring Family Campout

At Fred C. Anderson scout camp across the river from Stillwater.

The whole family is invited.

The cost is $15 per person which includes the camp fee, food and BB Gun and Archery.

Feel free to attend one night or two, or for just the day on Saturday.

The camp boasts 260 acres along the St. Croix River. Year-round camping, 17 winterized cabins, campsites, and a one-mile trail to a backpacking campsite make this property one of the most active camps.

“Shelter 3” This lower level cabin has a standard open floor plan with sleeping space for 24 on the floor. There are room dividers for privacy, two large tables with chairs, and two 3 burner hot plates for cooking and counter space. In addition to the main entrance, the cabin has a large garage door that can be opened for easy access and ventilation. This cabin also has an outdoor porch that provides more space for activities. The water source and latrine are a within a few minutes walk, and parking is slightly less than 1/4 mile away. Carts are provided for hauling your gear.

at St Jude Gym

Bring your bike and helmet.  We’ll review bike safety, and bike through an obstacle course around St. Jude and The Ark.  We’ll also have go cart races.  If you’re planning to go to the parade, please bring a go cart home, decorate it, and then bring it to the parade.

5/29 Memorial Day Parade
8:30 - 10:00ish.  Meet at Mahtomedi High School Parking Lot. Take turns pushing and riding go carts to Triangle Park.

6/23-6/25 Summer Camp at Camp Phillippo in Cannon Falls
(for the current Lions through Bears)
$100 per scout and $75 per adult (discounted rate after the pack has covered a small portion of the cost with $ from fundraising)
All food is included and prepared for us. The scouts have a full weekend of activities provided by a professional staff.
Because the fee is nonrefundable, the pack will be reserving spots when people have paid ahead of time via online, cash or check.

8/5 - 8/8 Arrow of Light Camp at Navajo-Tomahawk Scout Reservation near Rice Lake, WI
(for the current Webelos)

4 days, 3 nights, $120/youth, $80/adult. (discounted rate after the Pack has covered a small portion of the cost with $ from fundraising)

It is possible for your scout to attend without you - we’d carpool/caravan together and need a minimum of 1 adult per 4 scouts, with 2 adults minimum.

Because the fee is nonrefundable, the pack will be reserving spots when people have paid ahead of time via online, cash or check.

As of 4/11/17 there are 103 spaces still available out of 168.

Troop 433 will be attending for the same week, from Sat 8/5 – Sat 8/12. Not sure yet how much overlap there will be between the Webelo program and the Boy Scouts.

Based on an informal survey from the parents that stayed at the den meeting the other night, the 4 day session from 8/5-8/8 worked the best. However, there are other dates available if you’d prefer to go on your own on a different date.

There is also an extra additional day available to spend the night on 8/8 and return on 8/9 for $25 per person. (discounted from the council fee of $35, after the pack contribution)

Cost is $11 per scout and $0 for adults. When paying, please indicate in the notes the names of the attendees - both scout and adult.

but there is a chance that your payment will go through before I get to editing the webpage. In that case you'll receive a full refund.

Scouts will be given popsicle sticks a few weeks early and asked to make a bridge that spans 14 inches.
