  • Tree Planting - Sunday, November 15
Our den is volunteering in the Santa Monica mountains this November to help plant some trees! If you are planning to go, please register at https://www.treepeople.org/calendar/volunteer-events/2015-11-15/santa-monica-mountain-restoration. The organizer has stated that it's fine to leave early and/or arrive late!

    Full details:

All volunteers under 18 attending without a parent must bring the TreePeople Parental Consent Form, signed by one of your parents, to the event. You can find the form here: Parental Consent Form in English or Parental Consent Form in Spanish

When possible, we encourage volunteers to make a lower impact by carpooling. If you would like to provide or are seeking a ride, please visit the TreePeople Carpool Facebook group.

Wear comfortable clothes and closed -toe shoes. Bring a hat, sunscreen and work gloves if you have them.

*Please bring water to drink* and snacks or a lunch. Parking is free to volunteers and parking passes will be at the gate. Please let them know you are volunteering for oak restoration.

Because of the dynamic nature of wilderness plantings and tree care, please check our Mountain Forestry Hotline for event location and last minute changes due to rain, fire, etc. (818) 623-4871.
