"Where to shoot?"
To help you find a local club or facility that offers your chosen discipline, the National Shooting Sports Foundation has developed a website to find a location.
You can find information from USA Shooting regarding competition and championship events in junior rifle sports as well as the Shotgun National Junior Advanced Shooting Camp through the USA Shooting website.
Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP)
The SCTP offers youth competition at the state and national level in the shotgun disciplines of trap, skeet, sporting clays, International skeet and Bunker trap. You can find out additional information about the SCTP, a program of the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) online.
Scholastic Steel Challenge (SSC)
The SSC provides the opportunity for young adults aged 12 thru 20 to participate in the exciting and challenging family sport of "speed steel" and focus on the safe handling and use of handguns.
As a new member of the Junior USA Shooting Team, the Step Outside website can help you learn how to share your favorite activity with friends or family members who have never had an opportunity to try traditional outdoor sports.
