  • Pack Sled Riding Event February 8th  As most everyone has possibly seen on the pack calendar on the website, there is a small blurb for this Saturday called Pack Sledding day.  Well, it is true.  We haven't really made a big deal over this since we kind of need snow to do it. From looking at the weather, it sounds like we will have snow to go sledding!!!  The weather that I am seeing for Saturday is 21 degrees and partly sunny.  They are calling for 6-8 inches of snow between Tuesday and Wednesday.  Sounds like perfect conditions to me!!WHO IS WITH ME?!?!?!?!This Saturday, February 8th at 4 pm, anyone that would like to have some fun outdoor snow time with us ...

  • Uniform Day February 5th (maybe) As you may have remembered us mentioning at the last Pack Meeting, Uniform Day at schools is tomorrow, February 5th.  I have been waiting to hear from Council before I sent this update out to everyone.  If, by chance, school is canceled tomorrow, due to tropical weather, the scouts can wear their uniforms the next day of school and get credit for their show of pride to being a Cub Scout. All I ask, and this is on an honor system as I trust everyone for their word, inform your den leaders if your boy does wear his uniform.Den Leaders----- once you get everyone's name that participated, generate a list and get it to Mr. Musser and myself ...

  • WEBELOS I Den Visit the Mayor     On January 11th,  the WEBELOS I den got to go visit the Mayor of Wadsworth.  She took the time to explain what she does for the city. She also explained how the local government operates to make our city what it is.  The boys and parents all had very good questions.  I believe that everyone in the room learned a lot more that what we expected to learn.    This visit helps the boys earn their Citizenship activity pin.  One of the most important activities pins to be earned as a WEBELOS scout on the trail to become a Boy Scout.  Please check out the attached picture of the boys exclusive visit to the Mayors office.

  • Service Within Our Community!! This Holiday Season, We had a number of Scouts help the community in many ways.  All of the scouts in the pack participated in donating to Toys for Tots during our December Pack Meeting.  We also had a number of WEBELOS donate their time to help distribute toys for families for Toys for Tots at the Wadsworth United Methodist Church. That next week we reserved the better part of a Saturday and many families volunteered to ring bells for the Salvation Army at Big Lots.   During the annual Wadsworth Candle Light Walk, we had the Webelos dens handing out hot chocolate and popcorn to warm everyone up.  WAY TO GO 3402!! It took us no time to fill all of ...
