Welcome to the official website of Cub Scout
Pack 21 in Millville Massachusetts!!!!
Cub Scout Pack 21 is chartered by St. John's Episcopal Church in Millville, Massachusetts. However, Scouting is a non-sectarian organization, and we have boys of many different faiths in the Pack. Pack 21 is part of the North East Service Area of Narragansett Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
We have a great program for boys in first through fifth grade. Most of our scouts attend Millville Elementary School, but we welcome any boys in the area who are interested in Cub Scouting. Our Pack currently has about 15 scouts.
Cub Scouting is a family-oriented program that instills values such as citizenship, teamwork, honesty, respect, responsibility, and fitness, while being a lot of fun! The philosophy of Pack 21 is that scouting should be a game with a purpose. We want the boys to have a great time, while teaching them something along the way. We also believe that an important part of scouting is giving back to the community, through community service projects.
Our Pack's activities have included camping at West Hill Dam, hiking, sleeping overnight at Cub World, fishing, Providence Bruins Games, Outdoor movie night, Monster Truck Rally's and Paw Sox games with sleepovers on the field.
At our monthly Pack meetings, we've build air-powered boats, visited with Santa, dressed in costumes, met the Easter bunny, and ran a Pinewood Derby race.
Our big once a year Council event/competition called the Chuck Wagon Derby happens every year in May. The boys always look forward to the derby so they can compete against other packs, from other towns at Cub World, in Poscoag RI.
