Cub Scout Camporall
Chain Bridge District  |  Camp Snyder |  Sep 29 - Sep 30, 2018

What is Camporall?
  • This is the big annual fall camping event for the Chain Bridge District.
  • Camporall is a Pack-wide overnight event. The more Scouts attend, the more fun we'll have as a Pack.
  • It is held at Camp Snyder in Haymarket, VA.
  • The program differs a bit every year, but Camp Snyder has a BB gun range and two archery ranges, they are always on the agenda.
  • The rest of the program differs based on that year's theme.
  • Each Pack runs an activity. Pack 167 usually takes the craft area.  In 2015 and 2018 this was Ductigami, in 2016 it was making snot, in 2017 we be made Mars neckerchief sliders.
  • Visit the Camporall site for more information.
Cost For Cub Scout Camporall
  • $17 per Scout or sibling, $7 per adult
  • $10 per Scout or sibling if Saturday only (i.e. no camping)
  • Siblings and family are absolutely welcome (this is a family event for sure), if they participate in the program they should also pay the appropriate rate.
  • Registration is open!
General Information about this Camp
  • Though we're going as a Pack, each family needs to register individually at the link here.
  • Most families arrive in the early afternoon on Saturday and do all the activities they can. Activities continue on Sunday morning, and most Scouts will decamp and leave by noon.
  • At nightfall we'll light a campfire, and the Pack will cook and eat dinner right there at the campsite.
  • As the fire dies down, we'll either join the other District Packs for a fire and storytelling, or we'll have our own.
  • Not-so-scary ghost stories and s'mores wrap up the evening.  The Pack provides s'mores for the campfire.
