About Me

I am a PhD researcher in Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London, London, UK, under the supervision of Dan Stowell. As a member of Centre for Digital Music my current research is about physically-musically inspired probabilistic models for audio content analysis using Gaussian processes.

I completed my M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira (UTP) Colombia in November 2014, under the supervision of Mauricio Álvarez. From 2012 to 2014 I was a member of Automática Research Group at UTP working on Latent Force Models for Deep Brain Stimulation Modelling.

Research Interests

  • Gaussian processes
  • Music signal processing
  • Machine learning
  • Music information retrieval
  • Audio modelling and content analysis
