I am a junior researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT), a research institution in Porto, Portugal. I obtained my PhD from Computer Science Department of Faculty of Science, University of Porto (FCUP), Portugal in 2016 under the supervision of Prof. Verónica Orvalho. During my PhD, I was a member of the interactive visual computing lab. of DCC/FCUP (PIC). My primary research interests are computer graphics and computational animation. I am also interested in scientific computing.
Before joining to the PhD program of University of Porto, I obtained my bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering in 2005 and master of science degree in software engineering in 2008 from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul/Turkey. After graduating from my bachelor’s degree, I worked as an engineer in an international contracting company until the end of 2011.
